Ashes everywhere ...

Umji clenches her side as she got her consciousness back. She glanced at her hands.

Blood ...

"A-Ahh.." she winced as she tries to stand. She roamed her eyes around and sees no one.

"Unnie!" she calls. But no one's there to respond.

"Yuju unnie!"

"Eunha unnie?!"

"Anyone?! What's happening?!"

"Eunbi-yah!!"

She's starting to pant. Her nervousness is eating her whole body. She stretched her palm and caught something. She stared at it for mistaken it as snowflake. But, ashes.

She took a deep breath and uses her core to cover her wound with ice and pants again. She clenched her eyes and shook her head. She reached for her forehead and it's bleeding. Again, her core.

She knows exactly where she is right now. She tries her best to walk despite of the pain she's feeling. She moves the tiny branch of a small bushes to the side and walked through.

The Haven.

"W-What is happening.." she mumbled, almost inaudible.

She pushed the door slightly and went in, only to be welcomed by ashes. More ashes. She coughs while swaying her hands from side to side to avert the ashes.

"Yuju unnie?!" she calls again.

She walks to her room. It was slightly open. She went inside and her eyes darted something on her bed. It was the book. The prophecy book they used to read. She traces her eyes around, slowly approaching the book. She was about to hold it when she heard something from outside, the kitchen. She turned and jogged her way.

"Hello? Anyone?"

She found no one. Then another dazzling sound from behind her. She immediately turned and gasped but she sees no one. Just the door swinging. She quickly ran outside and turned everywhere.

"Girls! Unnie! W-Where.."

She gasped and stiffen when she saw someone.

"U-Umma...? W-Why... h-how are yo— How are you, Yewon-ah?" The Queen asks while smiling.

Umji was about to ran to her when she saw another one behind her. The Lord.

"A-Abeoji.."

"Yewon-ah.." the Lord mumbles and smiled at her.

"H-How did t-this.. this isn't possible.." Umji gasped.

"Yewon-ah.. follow me.." The Queen says.

The Queen went through the woods. Umji immediately followed her. The Queen was moving too fast that Umji couldn't keep up. Branches and bushes are keeping her from her sight.

"U-Umma.. w-wait— ARGH!!"

Umji got startled when she heard a loud growl. She tried to search for the Queen but she couldn't find her. She lost her. But then, she realized where the Queen led her.

The cliff.

The place where they used to jump off when they were training. Umji heard the same growl, followed by whimpers. She walked and followed the sound. Her eyes went teary when she saw Yuju, in her full form. Umji felt alive again and ran to her.
