The Attack

"Stay back!" I yell as the bloodsucker chuckles.

"Oh sweet Katie, you'll be mine." He says and I look up into his icy blue eyes as he vanishes. I place my hand on the wall and grip my arm.

"Are you okay?" My dad ask and I nod.

"Yeah just a little tired." I say and collapse against the wall. He sighs and picks me up.

"Come on." He says and carries me to my room. He looks at a guard and nods. "Adam, keep watch on her, no bloodsuckers get in." He says laying me down.

"Yes sir." Adam says and stands by my window. I slowly drift off as my dad leaves.

((BRING, BRING))

I hit my alarm and groan. "Katie get up!" I heard my dad yell and sigh quickly slipping on my jeans and I look at my shoulder and trace my hunter mark. I put my shirt on and slip into my shy girl facade.

{Some people would think of us as a normal family} I think to myself as I see my brother pig out on breakfast. "Save any for me?" I ask and they chuckle.

"Of course princess." They say and I wince.

"Don't, just please don't.." I say and my dad glares at me.

"It's true principessa." He says in Italian and I groan.

"Papa', non prendo il tuo posto." I say and he glares at me.

"Prenderete il mio posto!" He yells at me and I wince and shake my head.

"Vaffanculo! Odio stare con i vampiri, sarei potuto morire ieri sera!" I yell at him.

"Wait you mean to tell us that she was attacked at you never told us!Figlio di puttana!" My brothers yell and storm out.

"Katie.."

"Bye dad." I say and walk towards my car and head to school.

*Morning students of Bradwell*

I hear the intercom say and I sigh softly, walking with my head down. "Vampires, wolves, sirens, hunters, and humans should never be in the same school." I hear and look up at my best friend.

"Truth!" I say softly and she looks down at me.

"Katie.."

"Long story Kaley..." I say and sigh. She grabs my hand and pulls me to the bathroom.

"Spill." She says and I sigh.

"I was attacked last night by a vampire, he was in his true form so I have no idea who it was." I say and sigh. She growls and I watch her fangs pop out.

"One of my people attacked you.." She snaps and I grab her hand and she instantly calmed down. "You're lucky we have a blood bond." She says and I chuckle.

"Still can't believe you're bound to a hunter.." I say and she shrugs.

"You're my best friend I'm okay with it." She says and starts walking out of the bathroom. I follow behind her when she stops and I hear a low growl.

"Kaley there you are." I look over at her brother and my heartbeat quickens.

"Lance." She says and turns around to face me. "Go before he catches your sce..." She was cut off when Lance growls and lunges for me. I quickly move away and people look start to walk over cautiously.

"Hunter!" He spat and his eyes glowed purple. My eyes widen and I back away. He lunges for me again and my brother jumps in front of me in his wolf form then shifts.

"Back down!" He says and pushes Lance back. Kaley quickly helped me up as the two growled at each other.

"Stop!" I yell as Lance slashes at my brother, tearing up his arm. Kaley winces and I clench my fist as I pull Carter away from Lance. Kaley quickly walks over to Carter and he hugs her, calming down.

"Stupid bitch." I hear Lance say as his hand wraps around my arm. His claws dig into my arm and I heard Kaley growl. I wince and he chuckles, letting me go. "You'll be gone sooner or later." He says and walks away. I look at my arm and gag a little as the blood runs down my arm. I wobble a bit and almost hit the ground when I felt my body being lifted.

"Keith, take her to the nurse." I hear Kaley say and I instantly relax into my brothers hold. In a flash we are in the nurses office and Keith is pacing back and forth as Carter and Kaley run through the door and lean against it.

"Every vampire in this school is going crazy." Carter says and Kaley sighs.

"Only reason I'm not is because I'm bound to you and your sister." She says and I look at our marks.

"That's true." I say and whimper as my arm starts healing. "Cazzo, fa male, maledetti vampiri." I mumble and Kaley looks at me.

"I may not know Italian but I understand that last word. Care to translate?" She says and I sigh.

"Fuck, it hurts, damn vampires." I say and she nods.

"Understandable." She says and the door begins to open, everyone surrounds me as Daniel walks in.

"Your highness." Kaley says and bows. My brothers growl and Daniel walks right pass them to me.

"Katie, I've heard what has happened. I'm sorry for the way my own brother would act. I also heard he injured you. I know as a Hunter you can heal quickly but please allow me." He says and places his hands over the wound and starts healing it. I look over at Kaley in shock when he's done.

"Wow Daniel never took you as the type to help hunters." I hear Lance say and I tense. Daniel growls and grabs Lance by the throat before snapping his neck. My eyes widen and Kaley sighs.

"Daniel you can't just render him unconscious every time he pisses you off." She says and grabs her brothers hand. "You may be royalty but be careful." She says and my eyes start closing.

"Ad somnus meus regina." I hear Daniel whisper in Latin and then I see darkness.
