"David Valechio at your service." he exclaimed. I shook his hand.

"Saturn Kahile." I responded.

"Nice to meet you." he smiled at me.

"I wish I could say the same." I snapped back.

"Ouch." he smirked.

"Saturn watch your mouth." my mother warned.

"No, no it's quite alright. I was just like her at that age." David sympathized. I definitely did not like this guy at all. Who did he think he was strutting in here like he owns the place. Then again that is how we came here.

I sighed deeply, making it loud enough that eveyone heard me. My mom glared at me. "What?" I asked sarcastically. "We will talk about this attitude of yours later." she snapped in a whisper. I sighed again I was up for a long night of lecturing.

"Come, come, all of you into my house. I want you to meet my old friend." the Fortune exclaimed.

I  had never seen him so happy. And I thought if this David guy could make him so happy, why not give him a chance. I met up with my parents in his grand living room and sat in between my mom and dad.

"Well, now that everyone is here, we can get started." the Fortune said. "OK. This is John. Eve and Saturn." he introduced us. I waved when he got to me.

"Ahh. Is this the famous Saturn I keep hearing about?" David asked.

"She sure is." the Fortune responded proudly.

I smiled. I could feel my cheeks starting to blush. Why was I so embarrassed around this guy? Who was he? I felt a bad vibe around him but I couldn't yet tell what it was.

"Saturn. There is no need to be afraid. He has been untrustworthy in the past. I still do not fully trust him yet. I will not give away anything about our training. Relax." the Fortune assured me in my head.

His voice surprised me and I jumped in my seat. David glance at me, his right eyebrow raised. But he didn't ask me anything so that had to be a good thing.....right?

"So." I heard my mom say. There was a huge amount of awkward silence hanging in the air. I decided to ask the question that has been bugging me.

"How did you two meet?" I asked the two men in front of me.

"Oh well, that's a long story." David said. At the same time the Fortune said: "I thought you would never ask!"

They both turned to each other.

"Well, I think that the Fortune is more fit to tell this tale than I am." David explained. His jaw tensed. Something was up, and I was going to find out what it was.

"It all started when I was a young boy. I was lonely, and had not a one friend. There were this group of children, David included in that group that used to bully me. Until one day, they took it too far. David here felt bad for me and decided to ditch his group for me. I thought it was very thoughtful of him. But he refuses to admit that because he doesn't want people to see his soft side." the Fortune explained.

I couldn't help but laugh at this story. It seemed just like the Fortune to laugh at his horrible childhood. I still felt bad for him though. Then I thought about this story. Something just didn't feel right to me. Like when you put your shoes on the wrong feet.

"I will explain more later. Some things I cannot discuss in front of David or your parents." The Fortune explained to me, again, he sent me a silent brain message.

"OK. Will you tell me about David. The real story?" I asked him back.

"Yes." he replied.

An hour later, David was standing in the doorway, saying his goodbyes.

"Well, it was nice seeing you again." he addressed the Fortune.

Then he turned to me. "Saturn." he said, nodding his head. He did the same to my parents. In my opinion, that was weird. He talked to us like we were a group of annoying tourists. Stupidly, and with only enough respect to make us feel good. This made me hate him even more.

"If it is alright with you John and Eve, I would like to have Saturn stay the night at my house. I feel that we have more training to do for today." the Fortune asked my parents.

They looked at each other, having a conversation with their eyes.

"Yes I think that is OK." My father replied.

There it was again. That tone in his voice. On the day that I cam to the Fortune's house, he had that weird tone that I couldn't describe.

"We will bring extra clothes tomorrow OK  Saturn?" my mom asked.

"Yeah. Sounds good." I smiled back at her.

I was to sleep in the guest room. I got ready for bed.  For some reason, the Fortune had extra toothbrushes for me to use, and had some new pj's. I think had this planned.

"As soon as you are ready, I will meet you in the training room." The Fortune said.

I hurriedly got ready and dashed to the training room.

"Someone's awfully eager." the Fortune laughed.

"Shall we begin?" he asked.

I nodded. "Let's do this.
