IAN'S POV
I woke up with a strong headache, and a burning pain in my right arm. I rubbed my eyes and took in my surroundings.
OK, definitely not camp, my house, mom's house, the Fortune's, Jester's, Alex's. Nope. No where I recognize. That was a problem.
Fortunately, my hands were not bound, neither were my feet. At least I could move.
I walked around the perimeter of the room, studying the walls for any cracks or outlines. Nothing.
I studied the floor next, and saw the same things, completely flat surface.
Then I tried the ceiling. I have had so many bad experiences with ceilings, I was afraid to look at this one. I cautiously glanced up at the ceiling, and I smirked with hatred. Painted across the entire surface was a unicorn standing under a rainbow.
He only did this to mock me. That sick man. Of course Alex would do this. At least had time to think.

SATURN'S POV
Saturn, wake up. Saturn you need to wake up. SATURN!" my dad screamed in my ear.
I opened my eyes and sat up in my bed.
"What? What's going on?" I shouted.
"It's Ian. Where is he?" my father demanded.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"He said he would be here. Where did he go last night?" my father replied.
"I didn't even know he left." I said uneasily.
"Don't worry, he is alive and well." a familiar voice said.
"Who said that?" I asked, jumping out of bed and searching the room.
"Who said what?" he asked, worried.
I ignored him, and ran through the entire house, trying to find the source of the voice. That's when I realized that the voice wasn't in my house. It was in my head. That could only mean one thing, the Fortune knew where Ian was.
My heart beat speed up, and I started to hyperventilate. This could not be happening. I trusted this man with my life. My dad trusted him, my mom trusted him. What if all that training was fake, what if he was trying to distract me from destroy Alex. Was he working with Alex?
I must have been screaming or something, because my Dad came running down the stairs and into the room, asking me if I was alright.
"Oh no. Oh God no! This isn't happening. I thought he had changed. I was wrong, so, so wrong." my Dad whispered.
I turned to him in confusion. That same tone in his voice that I had never heard him use before. Then, it came to me. It was betrayal in his voice, guilt in his voice.
Guilt for what? I thought in my head.
"For everything Saturn! I should have know! You don't understand! I knew about the Fortune! I thought he had changed. But I was wrong. So very wrong." my dad shouted at me, his voice turning back to a whisper at the end.
I was so confused. He talked to me like he knew what I had asked. But that was impossible. I had said that in my head.
"I know this is hard to understand Saturn, but I know where Ian is, and I want you to come. The Fortune should learn how to keep his thoughts more secret." my dad said, making me even more confused.
