ALEX'S POV
I stood in front of my bathroom mirror, staring at my reflection.
I was a hated man.
I had a big secret. A huge secret.
If anyone found out about this, my life would change forever.
I was scared. So, so scared.
I ran my hands through my hair, and took a deep breath.
I had to tell her. Before she got hurt.
No one knew about this.
My hands were shaking so badly, I couldn't even turn the knob.
John, my assistant had come to me early yesterday morning. He said I had someone down stairs to see me.
I couldn't believe who it was.
Saturn's mother stood in my office.
I knocked on the wall as I entered.
"Hello." I said uncertainly.
"Alex, I need to tell you something I should have told you a long time ago." she replied.
I gulped.
"Have a seat." I gestured to my two chairs.
"I'm just gonna come right out and say it. Alex. I'm your mother." she explained.
"I'm sorry what now?" I asked. She didn't say what I thought she said?
"I'm your mother." she repeated.
My heart stopped beating. Literally. But only for a second.
"But, my mother died when I was born." I said, not willingly to believe her.
"I was 17 at the time. Too young to have a baby. My mother wouldn't let me keep you. I had to give you up." she explained, tears welling up in her eyes.
"When I had moved in with Jester, I had two more children. When I left him, I had wanted to tell you right away, but too many things were going wrong. I just couldn't- I couldn't" she continued.
"I-I. Why did you chose now to tell me?" I whispered.
"Because Saturn wants to kill you Alex. Your sister wants to kill you. I couldn't let that happen. I thought if I told her, she would forgive you." she replied.
By now, tears were falling freely down my face. What she just told me brought back so many memories. As a kid, I was abused, and my foster parents hated me. That's why I became who I am. Learning this changed everything. I didn't have to do this, I didn't have to be like this. I could really be myself.
"I'm so sorry Alex." she said, tears falling down her face.
"Mom. Can I call you mom?" I asked, smiling.
"Yes. Yes of course you can." she laughed.
We both got up and hugged each other.
"I missed you so much." she said.
"Me too." I replied.

It felt so good to have her back. She had said to meet her at her house at 7 to explain to everyone else.
I didn't know what was going to happen. Would they accept me? Hate me? Hate mom?
All the unanswered questions I had all made sense when I found out. I felt complete.
