Lauren's POV
Who are you, where are you from, what do you do for fun, what's your story. Questions will forever be something I hate. I don't know the answer to most of them.
New kid, always fits with the mysterious girl huh. Why would I want to tell anyone anything when they won't remember it in 5 years. Why would I give someone my time of day when they wouldn't do the same for me.
I'm in 4th period, the only period without Ag. But of course Lina. I never even knew she actually existed before today. I kept snapping Ag back as she had an elective for this class.
I looked over my shoulder to see Lina looking at me and whispering.
I rolled my eyes and kept just texting people back. The teacher was gone and it was sub work. Crosswords.
I put in one of my AirPods and I started playing Post Malone and I heard a scolf behind me.
"You're issue is?" I ask as I placed my hand on the desk of the guy sitting next to Lina. I looked at her with a slightly smile.
She raised her eyebrow at me and seemingly flushed slightly red. I smirked and bit my lip lightly and raised my eyebrows a little at her. A smirk coming across my face as she seemingly liked the sight of my face.
"You good there sweetheart?" I snapped my fingers and she quickly looked over at the dude before looking up at me again. "Don't call me that."
I quieted a laugh and pulled up the hoodie under Ag's jacket that I put on after Gym. It was cold as fuck and Ag let me borrow her grey one.
It rested right behind my bun and I watched Lina's eyes follow my actions. I found it funny as she didn't want anything to do with me and hated me 4 hours ago.
I bit my lip and slowly turned forward in my chair. My eyes staying on her until they couldn't. I snickered to myself and I pushed back into my seat.
She didn't like me messing around with Ag but she sure wouldn't mind me messing around with her.
I put in my other AirPod and occasionally would look over my shoulder and I'd catch her staring or with her phone out.
I would rolled my eyes or smirk. I had no intention on being with her. She wasn't my type at all. And for her to be Ag's ex, I don't play that type of game.
I waited for the bell to ring before I grabbed my stuff, wanting to be the last one out.
I nodded to the sub and started walking outside to our cars. I feel someone come up behind me and throw their arms around my shoulders.
I put my hand up on Ag's arm and smiled as she did the adorable hi she always did.
"Hi my love" I responded as we stopped at my locker. I put my combination in and hung up my backpack. Wednesday's are half days, which means we only have our first 4 periods.
Ag quickly replaced my backpack and wrapped her arms around my waist. I smiled as I blushed, I rested my head on one of the built in shelfs.
"How's your day going baby?" Lauren asked next to my face.
I moved my hand up and placed it on her cheek smiling. "It's going good. Thanks for asking"
I moved out of my locker and grabbed my phone before closing my locker. Ag grabbed my hand instead and I blushed rubbing my thumb across her hand.
We walked out of the school without saying a word to anyone or looking at the people looking at us.
I kept my head slightly down until I heard Lina and her annoying voice. I looked up and noticed her stating right at me. I raised an eyebrow and sent a little smirk before looking away. She was nothing special. Basic. A lot of girls in california looked like her.
She was nothing attractive in my books either. Barbie.
But I know people find that attractive, the blonde on white skin and super skinny jeans with croptops.
Never been my type. Athletic, dirty blonde or brown, tall, great smile, good style. Lina was none of that. But Ag is.
Nobody was similar to Ag. Maybe that's why she caught my eye. All I saw in California was Barbie's. Perfects. Ag isn't that. She doesn't have perfect eyebrows and doesn't need makeup.
She isn't perfect height. She has kinda big and rough hands. Her smile is crooked sometimes at a perfect angle.
But she was absolutely gorgeous.
I catch myself looking down at our hands, smiling right as we get to our cars. I see her smiling over at me and she slowly let go of our hands and pulls me in a tight hug.
I rested my head down and closed my eyes. Ag kisses the side of my head lightly and pulled me closer.
"See you later?" I whisper and I felt her nod her head.
"6. No flaking on me." Ag said softly with a little smirk behind her voice.
I laughed and pushed her away from her hips. She laughed a little as well and tried to go in for a kiss, which I dodged. She raised her eyebrow at me with a little smirk.
"You really trying to play games Cimorelli?" Ag said and I just laugh and gave her a light kiss.
I pulled away before it could get any more serious.
She groaned but then whispered a little goodbye in my ear before getting in her car quickly. I laughed at her and she honked her horn before flipping me off,
Was I nervous for this date? Extremely. But was I ready. Yes
