An unpleasant but pleasant surprise

I love you Nina, so much.
"What the?!" said Nina, shocked. Then she turned to Anna. "Is this another one of your jokes?"
"Hey what- no!" said Anna. "I still can't believe that you suspect me! I was with you the whole time. How on earth would I make plans right under your raven eyes?"
"Then who did this?" asked Nina. "Oi whoever you are, show yourselves! Or else, it's gonna end badly for you!"
"I'm sorry, Nina," said a voice. "I'm sorry for breaking your heart."
"Who are you?" asked Nina. "Show yourself!"
She ran towards the voice and did a Sweeper's Combo. They then heard an anguished yell followed by a splash. They were followed by gasps of air and more splashing. Shasha and Sugie had went to the fuse box and turned the electricity back on. They switched on the outdoor lights to reveal a blond man in the pool with Nina next to it. The man struggled to get out of the pool and Nina stood there in her fighting stance. He was still wearing his mask. Nina angrily tore the mask from his face which caused him to yell again because she was pulling the back of his ears in the process. When she saw who it was, she pushed him into the pool again. She angrily groped into the pool and roughly pulled him out of the water.
"What brought you here now huh?" asked Nina angrily. "After all these years, you decided to come NOW and SPOIL MY HOLIDAY?"
"I-I'm very sorry, Nina," said Adam. "I just couldn't pick a better moment. This was the day that we separated, twenty five years ago."
"Oh my gosh, it's Adam!" exclaimed Anna. "Steve it's your father!"
"Dad?" said Steve. "What are you doing here? Messing up our holiday?"
"Sorry everyone," said Adam. "Sorry Anna, I had to trip you to keep the suspense..."
"You CREEP!" said Nina and launched a Blonde Bomb which sent Adam flying into the pool again. "You STALKER! HOW DARE YOU JUST WALTZ INTO MY ROOM AND LEAVE THAT CHEESY NOTE?"
"And how dare you decided suddenly wake us up in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?" shouted Anna. "And let us on a wild goose chase too!"
"I'm sorry everyone," said Adam. "But I must say this. Nina, please forgive me for the stupid mistake that I have done? I was young and stupid. Please, forgive me."
"Why didn't you think about this during our date?" asked Nina. "Why did you give in to Anna?"
"I-I didn't, at first," said Adam. "Then Anna suddenly kissed me and I put my arms around her."
"I regretted and cried for days in my room after that," continued Adam. "I kicked myself because of it."
"Do you know how much I loved you?" said Nina, tearing up. "Do you know how much I looked forward to that date? I had dreamt about it for a whole week and I was shattered when I saw you with Anna."
"I'm sorry, Nina," said Anna, hugging Nina. "But I don't know what came over me. I just felt so attracted to him at the time. It was all my fault."
Nina walked over to Adam. She gave him a very hard slap on the cheek before hugging him tightly.
"I will be your girlfriend on one condition," said Nina, squeezing him until he suffocated. "You have to promise me to never cheat on me again. If you do, I. Will. Assassinate. You. You got that? Is that clear?"
"Yes yes, *gasp* very clear," said Adam. "I will forever be *gasp* faithful to you."
She finally let him go and he gasped for air. He had a red handprint on his face and he was nursing it.
"In case you didn't know," said Adam. "I never saw anyone else besides you after that failed date."
"So tell me why," said Steve suddenly. "Why did you give your genes to the Zaibatsu?"
"Because I-I wanted a child with Nina," stuttered Adam while fidgeting. "I-I never got the chance to marry her, so I j-just gave my genes."
"He's lying," said android Alisa. "He was put into cryosleep too."
"What?!" exclaimed Nina. "That explains why you haven't aged a bit. But why were you put into cryosleep?"
"I learnt from Dr Bosconovitch that you two were frozen in age," said Adam. "I couldn't bear to see you stay young when I age. I was thinking, if I aged and you stayed young, and we get married in the future, we would have a huge age gap even when we are the same age."
"That's so stupid!" exclaimed Nina. "Cryosleep is not a joke! I woke up with no memory of my past!"
"Wait what?" said Adam. "How did you get your memory back?"
"Anna made me visit our father's grave," said Nina. "So everything came back."
"So both my parents are only three years older than me," said Steve. "What young parents I have."
They all started laughing at this. Steve certainly ruined the moment for everyone.
"You should get a change of clothing," said Nina. "I don't know why, but recently everyone has been pushing each other into the water."
"Not everyone, just the two of you," said Asuka. "Only you and Anna has been doing that."
They went in and Adam went to his bike to get his stuff. He came back with a very large backpack.
"Looks like Steve inherited the habit of overpacking from you," said Nina. "He packed so much stuff when he came to Japan that he almost fell off a flight of stairs."
"This is for you, Nina," said Adam while digging into his backpack and pulled out a pink boutique bag. "Anna and that blonde girl almost caught me when I was buying you these."
"So How did you know my size?" asked Nina. "Did you remember it when we were still dating?"
"Yes I remembered," said Adam. "I couldn't forget it."
She opened the bag and found that Adam had bought her a light purple dress, a pair of violet coloured stilettos, a pretty necklace, a beaded charm bracelet and a cute bow headband.
"These are lovely," said Nina. "Thanks, Adam."
