I decided to rescue him, and that jumbo bucket of popcorn too. The others were still interestingly watching the live scenes in Yakushima. Lars looked kinda bored though. I looked at the screen and saw that the screen was split into two sections now. Lee had set one side of the screen to show what Adam was doing and the other to show what Nina and the gang were doing. Adam was writing stuff down in his diary, while the others were in an indoor dojo, that had a lot of windows. Lee zoomed in so much that what they were doing inside the dojo can be seen through the windows. They were sparring with each other. Lili and my cousin looked like they were having a mini tournament instead...
I went over to Kazuya, and shook him awake. He woke up with a jump, popcorn kernels all over his hair. He had apparently finished almost all of the popcorn and there was less than a quarter left inside of it. I took the popcorn bucket from his lap and set it on the coffee table. He still looked confused and I just pulled him out of the couch. He groggily followed and I took him to my room instead. We sat on my bed and started talking. Kazuya was trying to get the popcorn kernels out of his hair.
"Had a good nap?" I asked him and he nodded. "I'm not surprised..."
"Yeah that was boring," said Kazuya. "Their day was very uneventful..."
"I can tell," I said. "They were just carrying out their daily stuff."
Just then, Lars came in too.
"I almost fell asleep too," said Lars. "I wanted to get out of there, but our brother, Lee, insisted that I watch what happens..."
"I kinda pity you guys..." I said. "Why didn't you guys just leave?"
They both shrugged.
"So what do you guys wanna do instead?" I asked and was followed by shrugs again. "Wanna get dinner or something? I'm hungry..."
"Yeah me too," said Kazuya. "The last time I ate was lunchtime..."
Me and Lars looked at him doubtfully. He literally almost finished a JUMBO box of popcorn...
"You almost finished a jumbo bucket of popcorn," I said. "When I looked into the box, there was less that a quarter left in the box..."
"I didn't eat all of it," said Kazuya. "Jun was tired of the popcorn and blindly passed me the box. It was only a quarter full at the time. I only ate a little, before I fell asleep....
"Yeah after that, your hair started eating the popcorn instead," said Lars, and reached out at Kazuya's head. "See, there's still one in your hair..."
To our surprise and disgust, Lars popped the popcorn he found in Kazuya's hair inside his mouth. Kazuya and I just shot each other with disgusted looks on our faces while Lars was just crunching the popcorn. He suddenly put his hand into his mouth and pulled out a strand of black hair. He looked at it and was a little disgusted.
"Eww," I said. "What did you do that for?"
"I didn't wanna waste good popcorn, okay?" said Lars. "I didn't expect that there would be a strand of hair stuck in it..."
"What did you expect?" asked Kazuya. "You pulled that out of my hair..."
I had no idea that Lars could do stuff like this. I guess all of us do weird stuff right?
"Whatever," I said, annoyed. "Let's go and raid Lee's kitchen for dinner."
"Yeah we should," said Lars. "Come on, I'm starving."
"Well that explains why you ate that popcorn in my hair," said Kazuya, getting up from the bed. "Come on, we should really get something to eat."
So we left the room and headed for the kitchen. We had to pass the living room, and Lee and mom were still watching the happenings in Yakushima...
They actually ordered Lee's maids to bring them dinner to the living room. They were watching what was going on while eating on a tray table.
We shook our heads and just continued to the kitchen. Luckily, Lee's cooks had already prepared dinner for us. So we just had to eat it. Lee had really good cooks.
"So what are we gonna do tomorrow?" I asked. "I feel like Lee's planning to watch our friends in Yakushima..."
"I think so," said Kazuya. "He always liked spying on people. That's why he set up a spy satellite."
"Yeah and we watched you kill Heihachi with it," said Lars. "We saw everything clearly, just without sound."
"Wow..." said Kazuya. "He literally took spying to the next level..."
"High tech spying," I said. "Why is he so obsessed with robotics anyway?"
"He was like that since we were young," said Kazuya. "He kept saying 'when I grow up, I wanna make robots!' over and over again..."
"Then when did he start saying Excellent?" asked Lars. "That seems to be his favourite word."
"Not too long ago," said Kazuya. "He only recently started saying it."
After we were done, we decided to go and see what the others were doing again. It was very uneventful at Yakushima at this point as they were just having dinner!
"I can't believe that Lee and mom actually finds it interesting to watch people have dinner," I said. "Like, look at them."
"They're drooling," said Lars, with a laugh. "Like look at them. They're drooling because they're eating tasty looking food..."
"I bet you Lee is gonna call one of his maids to serve him some food now," said Kazuya. "He's gonna call them in three... two... one... now!"
He was right. At that very second, Lee pressed a button on the coffee table. Immediately, one of his maids came.
"Can I have some grilled chicken with barbecue sauce?" asked Lee. "You want anything, Jun?"
"I think I'll have a grilled panini ham and cheese sandwich," said mom. "And I want extra cheese."
"What the heck is a panini?" I asked. I have no idea what that is.
"As if I know," said Kazuya. "Lars?"
"It's a type of Italian bread," said Lars. "So she's just asking for a sandwich."
"Alright then," I said. "You guys wanna go do something else?"
"Sure," said Kazuya. "Wonder what else he has in this house..."
He called to one of the maids and asked her.
"Can I have a directory of this house?" asked Kazuya. "Or at least, some directions?"
The maid ran to one of the magazine racks and came back with a booklet that had a picture of the house with the words 'Lee Residence' printed on it. She handed it to Kazuya and nodded.
"Thanks," said Kazuya, opening it. "Let's see... he has an arcade here? Then why did he take us to the arcade yesterday? We could've just played here..."
"What else is in here?" asked Lars, peeking over Kazuya's shoulder. "He has a home theatre? Come on! Let's go there instead! We can watch a movie."
So that's what we did. We went to the home theatre and it was huge. It looked more like an actual theatre but smaller. We went to the front row and sat there.
"So what shall we watch?" I asked. "What movies does he have?"
"Plenty," said Lars, looking through the list of movies that he had. "Shouldn't we have some popcorn or something?"
"I've got that covered," said Kazuya, appearing with a huge bucket of popcorn and some drinks. He sat in the middle between me and Lars and served us the popcorn. "I'm way ahead of you guys."
So Lars chose a movie and we started watching. This is way better than watching the happenings in Yakushima. Wonder what those two found interesting in watching them having dinner.
