Kazuya tried hard to move his arm but couldn't. The controller fell off his hand but was floating midair. Wait... this looks familiar. I glanced at mom to make sure that I was right. Yep. I was right. She was holding up her hand with an annoyed expression.
"What's going on?" asked Kazuya, in exasperation. "Why can't I move? Who's doing this?"
I started snickering, and the others turned to me.
"Are you doing this, Jin?" asked Lars. I just held up my hands and shrugged, motioning that it wasn't me. "Then how?"
"You've got a cramp, buddy," said Lee. "Yeah, that's why your arm is stiff."
"It's not a cramp!" exclaimed Kazuya. "It feels like someone is holding it back!"
"Yeah that's true," said Lars. "How else would you explain the controller floating midair?"
Just then, Lars and Lee finally realised that it was mom. They were so surprised at this. Lars and Lee gave a gasp. Kazuya couldn't turn around because of his stuck arm.
"Wha- what is it?" asked Kazuya, turning his head towards his brothers, who were gaping. "Guys, please tell me what's going on?"
His arm was finally released. He almost fell because he was trying to pull his arm forward, and mom just released it without warning.
"What was that?" asked Kazuya, rubbing his arm while looking around and noticing that Lars and Lee were staring open-mouthed at mom. "What's up you guys?"
"Dude..." said Lee. "Are you aware that your wife has super powers?"
"Of course I do," said Kazuya. "She has the Kazama blood that suppresses the Devil Gene."
"No not just that," said Lars. "Are you aware that she has telekinesis?"
"Wait what?" asked Kazuya, confused and shocked. "Jun, you have telekinesis?"
"Yes I do," said mom while setting the floating controller on the table. "Angel taught me this. I had the ability, but didn't know how to use it. So she taught me."
"That's so cool!" said Kazuya, admiringly. "So you can do things without touching?"
"I thought you could do that too?" asked Lee. "You used it to slam me into the wall a few decades ago."
"Well yeah," said Kazuya. "But only in my Devil form."
"I wonder if I can do it without transforming," I said, thinking aloud. "Can I, mom?"
"I'm not very sure about it, sweetie," replied mom.
"Sometimes I wished I was a Kazama instead of a tainted Mishima," said Kazuya with a sigh. "It's not fun to be raised as a Mishima..."
"I agree with that," said Lee. "Luckily Jin was raised by Jun instead."
"And luckily I was raised in Sweden," said Lars, suddenly.
"That's irrelevant to our conversation," said Kazuya. "You didn't even know that you were a Mishima while growing up."
"But I still count, okay?" said Lars, a little hurt. "I'm still a Mishima."
Yeah yeah whatever," said Kazuya. "Anyway, what are they doing in Yakushima now?"
"I'll open it in my laptop," said Lee and called for the Combot with his laptop. "Let's see now..."
They weren't doing anything interesting so Lee just closed his laptop and asked Combot to take it away.
"Dinner anyone?" asked Lee. "I'm starving..."
So we had dinner in Lee's dining hall. The food was amazing. We were gonna leave later today.
"Oh come on, just one more night," said Lee. "You can go back tomorrow."
"Nope sorry, Lee," said Kazuya. "But we need to go work tomorrow. And we don't have any work clothes with us now."
"Fine," said Lee. "But don't you wanna watch the stuff going on in Yakushima?"
"We'll come over tomorrow," said mom. "We'll stay over tomorrow, okay?"
"Why?" I asked. "We just said we can't stay here for now."
"Jin, I can sense that something is gonna happen tomorrow," said mom. "Adam is gonna do something tomorrow night."
"He's gonna get himself killed," said Kazuya. "Yep, I feel certain he will..."
"I'll have some microphone drones set up when he does whatever he's planning," said Lee with a smirk. "That way, we'll be able to hear what they're saying."
"Yes, he's gonna meet the others," said Jun. "I have a feeling that it'll end good for him."
"Excellent," said Lee. "I think I'll begin with my plan too."
"What are you gonna do?" asked Lars. "Are you gonna go spy on them?"
"No that's not the plan," said Lee. "That's what we're doing now. I need to start my plan to lure them to the concert we'll be having."
"What's your plan?" I asked. "Are you gonna kidnap them or something?"
"Nothing like that," said Lee. "I'll give them free tickets for it. It's gonna be in the resort auditorium, and I'll have the resort give free front row tickets to our friends and say it's for the travellers that came first, which is them."
"Smooth," said Kazuya, with a smirk. "Your parents must've been just like you..."
"Yeah but unfortunately they died," said Lee, shrugging. "Well I don't really blame them, and also, if it wasn't for their deaths, I wouldn't be who I am now."
We said goodbye to Lee and left the mansion. Since almost all of us brought our vehicles, we had to convoy each other. I drove first on my bike, Kazuya rode in his car with Lars behind us while mom came last in her car. We arrived home fairly late.
"Bedtime, for you three," said mom. "You guys have to go to work tomorrow. Also, we might have to stay up late tomorrow night."
We went to bed and slept soundly. The next morning, we woke up early for work. We went to work and I have to admit, it's pretty hard without the Williams here. It's a good thing Lars helps me. He's a great help.
As soon as work was over, Lars and I went over to Lee's place with an overnight bag. Kazuya arrived with mom shortly after. Lee had already set up his 'spy camera' to show what our Yakushima friends were doing. He even had giant boxes off popcorn and drinks for everyone, and blankets and bolsters too. His sofas were longer because they can be turned into a bed if needed. This was literally movie night.
We refreshed ourselves and had some dinner before joining Lee.
"Did we miss anything?" I asked, laying down on the sofa and pulling on the blanket before getting myself a huge box of popcorn. "Anything happened before we arrived?"
"Alright, lets get you updated first," said mom, crunching the popcorn. "Yesterday, he bought a bunch of fireworks."
"Yes and today, he decided to lay low," said Lee. "He didn't wear a disguise. He even went for ice cream and found that Anna's group came there too."
"And then?" asked Kazuya. "Did he get himself beaten up?"
"Why are you eagerly waiting for him to get beaten up?" asked Lars, annoyed. "You're such a mean person..."
"No I don't think he got beaten up in there," said Lee. "After a while when Anna's gang went in, he came running out the backdoor of the shop and Anna's gang just calmly left."
"I feel like nothing happened in there," said mom. "Kazuya, I have a feeling that your expectation will become reality tonight."
"Yes!" exclaimed Kazuya, in triumph. "I wanna see that!"
We watched and Adam suddenly came out of his hotel at around eleven thirty, with his backpack and a box of fireworks. He loaded his bike and sped off towards the resort.
