Love Story Part 6

Muffin's P.O.V

I sighed.

"Darwin...."

"Who's Darwin, Muff Muff?"

"He just a friend, Daddy."

"Sureeeeeeee".

I rolled my eyes. After we went to the doctor's office, my dad went to pick up Earl Grey from his "band".

"Hey dad, hey Muffin."

"Hello brother of mine."

"Hi son how was practice?"

"Eh, it was alright."

After we drove home, I went upstairs to my room, I didn't know Mom made dinner but I didn't care I went straight to bed. I stopped thinking about my crush as soon as I saw a picture of my older, older brother Pumpkin holding me as a baby. The family may have tried to forget him, but I haven't.

"Oh Pumpkin, I remember you as a good brother and was about become a good husband and father. I miss you. Why did you have to go...."

Tears came out of my eyes, I was about five or six years old when my dear brother passed away. I thought in my head what memories I had with him. But nothing. It's rare when I don't remember anything about Pumpkin.

Candy P.O.V

I started eating at the food court after we've gotten all the baby clothes. Then I saw Gumball, it's strange how we met like 2 times already, at school, and now at the mall.

"Hey there, Candy right?"

"Yep, the one and only".

"Well I'm Gumball Watterson and this is my half-brother Darwin."

"Nice to meet you, Candy".

"Nice to meet you, Darwin".

"So umm Candy, would you like some company?"

Well my dad is at Locker Paws and my sister is at Furs and Perfumes, so I do need some company since I am alone by myself.

"Sure, why not?"

Apparently, Darwin had to be somewhere "important" and Gumball sat down across from me.

"I've heard a lot of things about you, Gumball"

"Really?"

"Yea A lot of kids have been talking about you, doing your mischievous adventure with your family and your girlfriend."

"Oh I don't have a girlfriend anymore".

"Oh... I'm so sorry".

So I was right, that peanut antler was same girl I saw. So that was Gumball's ex-girlfriend. No wonder Muffin stood up to me.

"So tell me about yourself, Candy".

I blushed when he said that. The only two people that knows everything about me is my family and of course, Muffin.

"Um... well I like to draw, watch anime, sing.."

"Oh yea me too, are you going to be in Hairspary this year?"

"Oh no I'm not. I have... umm."

Gumball smirked at me like he knew what I meant.

"Oh come on, I know you can do it. I believe in you, Candy"

I blushed like a shiny tomato, Gumball believe in me?

"Um.. I can do it!"

"Great, I'll see you tomorrow".

"Um alright b-bye".

Gumball and Darwin walked off.

Sugar P.O.V

La la la la la la. I need to find the perfect perfume so I can impressed Mr. Small tomorrow. But how? There are like so many options, unless maybe it's not a good idea... yet. I need to get to know him well in order for my plans to work.

"Yes did you see it Darwin, I talked with Candy."
"Yea, I know. I saw you. So what did you guys
talk about?"

"Stuff and the play".

"Huh interesting. Oh come on let's go home. I wanna hurry up for dinner before Dad eats all of it."

"Good point".
