I can't believe it... My brother's really gone.... Right in front of my eyes, he was the only family I had and now he's gone..... I should of done something... I shouldn't have listened to him... I should of done something but I didn't...........

3rd person POV:

  Tails and Knuckles were terribly upset and scarred over what they had just witnessed. They had seen the number one hero of mobius and fastest hedgehog alive just perish right in front of them. They had no idea what to tell the others of Sonic's demise, they had no idea how everyone was going to react.

Will they snap? Will they break? Or will they just say nothing and walk away realizing that the number 1 hero is gone and everyone will be doomed of Eggman's tyranny across the world?

They don't know, no one knows what's going to happen next, for now, they are going to focus on the mysterious blonde hedgehog for the time being. Who is she and why was she in Eggman's base?  Is she some sort of new creation of Eggman's?

So many questions yet so little answers-

*DING DONG*

The doorbell's ring echos throughout the house.

Someone's here, yet both Knuckles at Tails didn't know what to do.

After a moment of silence, Knuckles decides to open the door,knuckles ends up almost stumbling back seeing who is in front of him.

Amy's pov:

Ooohhh wow I can't wait to see Sonic! It's been too long! I wonder how he's doing? I haven't seen him at all yesterday, and considering what I've heard about what happened to Eggman's base, I wonder if it has anything to do with Sonic...... I hope he's okay... but....why do I have this terrible feeling that something went wrong.... What if....something did go wrong... what if-

  I stopped in my tracks seeing that I'm already in front of Sonic and Tails' house.

I decided to press the doorbell and awaited for Sonic to open the door.....

  Instead of Sonic, I was surprised to see Knuckles out of all people!

  What is he doing here? Why didn't Sonic or Tails open the door? Where's Sonic?!

"Um, hello Knuckles, uh where's Tails? " I ask politely.

"I don't think he wants to talk to anyone.. " Knuckles spoke in a eerily quiet tone

Something wrong

"Oh well... where's Sonic-"

"he's gone... "

I peak over Knuckles shoulder and see Tails just sitting down on the ground, looking down and almost grey like

"W-what? "

What did he say?

"I said he's gone Amy" Tails spoke in a bit of a harsh but broken tone

  "What do you mean? Did he go out for a run or some-" I ended up getting cut off when  said these very words

"HE'S DEAD AMY! WHAT DOES ' HE'S GONE ' CAN'T YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!? "
