"A sonic boom."

"I'm almost scared to ask why that is bad."

Green

Green.

Everything around me is so vibrantly green.

As I charge amongst our army my eyes gaze over the beauty that is Shallow Valley. I'm left in awe of how much green there is. Suddenly I feel like the seventeen-year-old criminal who stepped out of the Dropship seven years ago. I can still smell the lingering rain on the leaves as we run and dodge through the trees, the vibrant shades of greenery. It's been a long time since I've seen an abundance of plant life quite like this.

My awe over the valley is cut short as we approach the inner village where Echo said McCreary's people would be. One hand on my dagger I run with Bellamy through the fog. Bursting into the village in our hundred I let my gaze trail around the village homes on stilts as Bellamy yells the order "WEAPONS DOWN!" Our ranks of Grounders corner McCreary's people in the village, their hands flying up in surrender as Bellamy orders firmly "PUT YOUR WEAPONS DOWN! NOW!"

Not expecting them to go down without much of a fight I arch my eyebrow curiously as I watch the men and women in tan baggy jumpsuits lowering their weapons to the ground. Their knees sink into the mud, rain drizzling through the tree cover. As our army keeps them cornered on their knees in surrender awaiting Madi's order, I lean back to Miller and comment "I thought this would be a lot more difficult." Miller only hums in response as we gaze over the hundreds before us.

"Teik em oui."

Suddenly my eyes shoot wide and I spare a worried glance with Bellamy who appears equally taken aback by Madi's order. As the guns go up I dart out, breaking rank and yelling "HALT! HOLD YOUR FIRE!"

As the guns pause, apparently thinking I still have somewhat of a say over them, I spin around as Bellamy follows me in breaking rank. "They surrendered," Bellamy tells Madi who appears stunned by our interference "It's over."

Not having any of it, Madi throws her hands out at the men and women on their knees behind us. A determined look I immediately recognise as one of Clarke's, Madi defensively fires at us "They killed hundreds of our people in that gorge!"
