I'm so cold. The waters here are below freezing and I have icicles hanging from off of my tail. I must have taken a wrong turn while swimming. Jellyfish are everywhere and I keep trying to avoid them. My green eyes are more of a grey.

"Mom... I -I neeeee-eed y-you." I yell. I get no response. "M-m-mom! Please, where are y-ou?!" An icicle drops off of my tail and hits the bottom of the ocean with a loud thud. Wait a minute... the sand is soft so if I drop something it shouldn't make a sound.... I swim down to the bottom of the ocean and see a huge ship. A shipwreck! I examine the ship as I swim around it. Jellyfish and seahorses and swimming in an out of the port holes so I try not to get too close. It's so amazing. I go inside the ship through a huge hole that a shark probably made. Ugh, I'm not going to think of sharks anymore because the remind me of Tyran. I find a piano with a bench and I sit down. My tail is hanging over the bench. I really miss my legs. I know that I've only been a mermaid for a couple hours but the 4 years on the ship have really brought me to loving my legs.

I'm glad that my mother had given me piano lessons in my early years because I still remember how to play. I tap middle C and hear a fainted sound. I start to play one of my favorite songs called " Im only Human". But technically I'm not, i half human half fish but whatever! I play the song underwater and almost start crying because I miss my piano at home. I just wish I was home... I stop playing the old piano and swim around the ship. There are many rooms and there are toys floating throughout them. I pick up a little rag doll and look at her face. This ship makes me sad because I know that this doll was once loved by a young girl. I am so tired. I didn't sleep last night , I just swam as fast as I could trying to get as far away as possible from Tyran as I could. In one of the rooms I find a bed. It looks very nice, maybe for the rich people/upper class. I swim over to it and lay down on the silky cloth covering it. I look up at the wet ceiling and before I knew it, fell asleep.
