Merida's POV
I looked up at the workshop, everything seemed normal. But I kept getting this bad vibe, like something bad was going to happen. It didn't help that I was starting to criticize everything I was doing. I don't know how it happened if just did.
"What is happening to me?" I whispered.
I never really thought about my family, the thought had never crossed my mind. But all of a sudden I find myself wondering what my brothers at up to, if my mother was grief stricken, if my father was still ruling. And what about Angus? What ever happened to him? I sighed, all of these thoughts had created self doubt within me. That was so unlike me, it was like I was slowly changing.
"Merida? Is that you?" a soft voice asked. I could recognize it anywhere, the healer of the group. The always optimistic Punzie.
"Hey Punize. It's me." I sighed again.
"Why did you run off?" she asked as she walked up beside me.
"I needed to get out. It's just-" I just couldn't finish sentence.
"You okay? You seem-"
"Merida! Rapunzel!" a voice shouted from above. I looked up to see Hiccup and Toothless.
I felt my hair getting blown across my face by the wind but I didn't mind, I couldn't mind. Not when everything I forgot about my past was starting to come back. I tuned everyone out and walked to my room, everyone looked at me with concern but before I could even reach my room someone froze me to the floor...again.
"Merida! What has gotten into you!?" Elsa asked frustrated.
"You best unfreeze me now lass." I said threateningly.
"Why? So you can ignore us?" Jack quizzed from beside Elsa.
"Let. Me. Go." I said through gritted teeth.
"Guys, maybe we should-" Rapunzel tried to intervene.
"First you try to kill Flynn, then you run off and now your ignoring us! What is bothering you?!" Elsa asked/shouted.
She unfroze me and I turned around to see North, Tooth, Bunny, Sandy, Jack, Elsa, Punzie, Hiccup, Flynn and Toothless looking at me. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, my grip on my bow tightened as I struggled to remain calm. My temper was shorter than normal, when I opened my eyes I looked at each and everyone of them.
Elsa's POV
Merida has been acting very strange today. Before she opened her eyes I thought I saw her disappear for a moment. But as soon as she disappeared she came back.
"I've been thinking that's all." then she slammed her door.
"Something's going to happen," North said. "I can feel it in my belly!" he added soon after.
"And the belly is never wrong. But why do I have an aching feeling that it involves Merida?" I ask everyone.
"We'll just have to wait and see." Tooth sighed.
~Later That Day~
"Come on! You can not be serious!" I hear a muffled male voice argues.
"I'm as serious as North on Christmas." a Scottish voice replied.
"Oh, dear." I sigh and walk out of my room to find Jack and Merida arguing. They always argue but this seemed a tad out of hand.
"Why do you even want to know ?" Jack asked her leaning on his staff.
"You obviously don't know how serious North is on Christmas." Merida snapped at him and storms off.
"Do I want to know?" I sigh.
"Don't worry Snowflake. She only wants to know why everyone is paranoid. No big deal." Jack explained.
"But it is a big deal Jack." I insist.
"Eugene!" Rapunzel shouted.
"She'll never know." Flynn responded as the couple strolled inside.
"You shouldn't be testing her patience these days Eugene. Put it back before she realizes-" Punzie never got to finish.
"WHO TOOK MY BOW AND ARROWS!" a Scottish voice boomed.
"Here! Take these!" Flynn shove them in Jack's hands and runs away.
"Hey!" Jack shouted and dropped the bow and arrows, before running or rather floating after Flynn.
"Punzie we need to tell Merida what happened." I look at my cousin. She nods in agreement.
"Tell me what?" the door closes as Merida stands there in front of us.
Here goes nothing.
