Mu Rulan and Mu Rulin walked to the front of the crowd. Sang Zheng took a step forward and stretched out a hand. "Hello, I'm Sixuan's manager, Sang Zheng."

Mu Rulan nodded, shaking his hand. "I'm Mu Rulan. I'm the president of the student council at Liu Silan."

Sang Zheng was enlightened – so this was Grandpa Ke's precious granddaughter.

After that symbolic handshake, she smiled, "I was away before, so the person you were in contact with was my vice president, Shu Min. I'm not too clear on the details, but if you need any help you can come find me, though I might not be too helpful."

Sang Zheng pushed his glasses up. "Than I'll thank you first." He turned around to instruct the workers on beginning preparations.

Dong Sixuan was standing to the side, hands in his pockets. His blue eyes were half-squinted and at the corner of his life was a devilish smile.

He remembered where he had seen this girl before. Wasn't it her picture on his brother Dong Qi's desk? Now he really didn't know whether to say it was interesting or bad. With his understanding of his brother's personality, if this girl wasn't special to him, he wouldn't put her picture on his desk.

However, the Dong Family was second-in-command to the Huo Family. And the Huo and Ke Families were dead-set on being enemies.

Grandpa Huo had high hopes for Dong Qi. How could he allow Dong Qi to mess around with Grandpa Ke's favorite granddaughter?

Mm?

Mu Rulan felt a gaze on her, but when her eyes followed the figure surrounded by the crowd, she only saw his back.

She and the other girls walked to the shooting location. A very innocent-looking girl was standing beside Dong Sixuan. She looked to be around sixteen or seventeen years old and the director was scolding her as she looked dejectedly downwards, eyes red.

"That must be the newbie that just signed with TMT. Sang Han'er, right? She's not adorable at all. She doesn't suit his majesty!" A girl nearby pouted her lips unhappily.

"That's right, she doesn't have the right aura," someone else agreed.

"She's even been scolded by the director. It's obvious that she can't act. Why did they recruit her anyway? It's not like there aren't any other artists in TMT."

"I guess you don't know? Sang Han'er is probably related to Sang Zheng."

"Gosh, I hate people who don't have any talent but still want to use the back door..." someone else said, clearly salt.

The director was rushing for everyone to start. Sang Han'er quickly ran to her position, but in the end was too hasty and careless. Her high heels caught on a stone hidden in the grass and she fell down.

The director was fed up and became angry again. He had never seen an artist so infuriating. Not only was she bad at acting, she also had no self-awareness!

"What's wrong with that woman?" Dong Sixuan frowned, looking unhappy as he questioned Sang Zheng.

Since the beginning, Sang Han'er had been having NGs the entire time. He didn't even have the chance to appear yet. It was just an MV that was a few minutes long; how long did she expect to take? What a waste of time!

Sang Han'er began to tear up as she stood before the director. It wasn't like she had fallen on purpose! She had even skinned her knee.

"What are you crying for? I didn't ask you to cry for a scene! If you don't have the strength don't try to work here. Since you're working here already, don't bring that princess attitude. No one cares!"

"Pause for a break!" the director shouted angrily.

"Isn't that woman too stupid? She pissed the director off! Dang, let me upload this on my social media," said a girl, typing on her phone.

Mu Rulan shook her head and smiled wordlessly. She came here to watch and had no intention of meddling in any matters.

However, the world proved once more that people refused to let Mu Rulan exist quietly.

Without any rhyme or reason, Sang Han'er rushed up to Mu Rulan and stared at her pitifully with her red eyes. "Eh, your acting skills look good. Do a demonstration for me."

Her voice was soft but her tone was commanding.

Mu Rulan looked at the girl in front of her. "Do I know you?"

Sang Han'er's eyes filled with disdain and her arrogance filtered through her tone as she said, "How would someone like you know me?"

Sang Han'er thought that since Mu Rulan was Dong Sixuan's fan, her background must not be very powerful. Or else, why would she be sitting here rather than seeing Dong Sixuan in person?

Mu Rulan nodded, her expression turning harsh. "Since that's true, there's still room for improvement in your education. If you use this kind of attitude to address a stranger, what does it even mean to be 'a hundred percent top artist' in TMT?"

"You......"

"Han'er." Sang Zheng's voice interrupted her.

"Uncle..." Sang Han'er's eyes were still red, staring at Sang Zheng as though she had been wronged.

Sang Zheng furrowed his brows. "The shoot's starting soon. What are you still doing here?"

Sang Zheng then turned to Mu Rulan. "Miss Mu, I'm sorry. I will apologize now on her behalf."

Sang Han'er pouted. "Why should you apologize? She can obviously act very well. Though she's excited to see Dong Sixuan she can still act so cool. I watched her this entire time and she had no flaws at all!"

"Shut up!" Sang Zheng said severely. "I'm really sorry, she's still young and hasn't learned much. Please don't mind her."

"Of course I won't bother with a girl who still doesn't know what manners are at the age of seventeen, since my upbringing won't allow me to," Mu Rulan responded lightly. Dong Sixuan was close enough to overhear this and nearly began clapping for her.

Sang Zheng's expression expressed shock. He hadn't expected this girl to be so blunt. He suddenly came to understand why his boss sent him that message. This president really was not one to be trifled with.

The atmosphere was quite frozen. Dong Sixuan walked to them and melted the awkwardness, smiling sexily like a carnivorous animal in the grasslands.

"What are you all chatting about? We should start working," he said, slinging an arm over Sang Zheng's shoulder. His gaze examined Mu Rulan.

Mm, he had to admit that with her looks and temperament, she was born to stand atop the glittering stage. If it was in the past he would have been happy to take this dark horse in, but it was too bad that she was someone of the Ke Family.

Mo Qianren had come to look for Mu Rulan. But he didn't like crowded places so he stood under a tree that wasn't too far away, waiting for her to finish her business. He hadn't expected that Mu Rulan would look over and see him when he arrived.

It wasn't the first time that Mu Rulan had smiled brightly when looking his way, but Mo Qianren still felt his heart skip a beat and his entire body paused for a bit. He began to walk to her.
