"I'll pay you back twice the price of the shoes so you can buy new ones. Problem solved, no?" Taishi Niangzi asked, taking out her wallet to look for cash.

But who knew Sang Han'er would be so sanctimonious. "I don't want your money, all I want is an apology, you -"

"Sorry! I apologize, alright?!" Taishi Niangzi could only feel that she was unlucky today, encountering such a psycho!

"Can that even be counted as an apologizing, with that attitude? You weren't even sincere!"

Mu Rulan stood behind them, looking at the commotion. It was obvious that Sang Han'er was trying to drag Taishi Niangzi into trouble.

She looked around, noticing there was a man in a black suit and dark sunglasses standing behind Sang Han'er.

Dong Sixuan? What were they doing? She was confused, but looking at how angry Taishi Niangzi was becoming, she decided to walk forward.

"Niangzi."

Taishi Niangzi felt as though she had been granted amnesty upon hearing Mu Rulan's voice. She rushed to her side and cried, "Gosh, Lan Lan, I've met a psycho!"

Mu Rulan comforted her before narrowing her eyes and saying, "Miss Sang, Mr. Dong. May I ask what you've done to my friend?"

"No wonder you guys no each other. So birds of a feather flock together indeed. Neither has any manners; she stepped on my shoe and yet hasn't given me an apology!" Sang Han'er's voice turned a little sharp.

She had a bet with Dong Sixuan. He had selected a target and told her if she could make that person cry, he would ask Dong Qi to let her continue shooting in his MV as the main female character.

"Is that so? Are the people here deaf, that they can't hear her apology?" Mu Rulan sent a sharp gaze at the surrounding crowd. Some rubbed their noses out of guilt.

"Hmmph. It doesn't matter. If you guys don't apologize to my satisfaction, don't even think of leaving!" Sang Han'er was fired up now, thinking back to that day Mo Qianren hadn't left her any face and spoken so bluntly. Now she wanted to give this person a taste of that embarrassment.

"Since we can't solve this privately, let's bring it to the police station or to court? Niangzi, call the police." Mu Rulan didn't want to waste any more energy on this kind of person.

Taishi Niangzi was reminded by Mu Rulan and slapped her forehead. "Damn! I'm so dumb, I totally forgot my father is the chief of folice!"

Taishi Niangzi finally reacted now that she actually had someone to rely on. She took out her phone to dial the number.

It didn't matter whether or not Taishi Niangzi was telling the truth, but if this matter spread to the police station, Dong Qi would definitely kill Dong Sixuan.

"Miss Mu, there must have been a misunderstanding here. There's no need to go to that kind of place," Dong Sixuan said, standing out to pull on a charming smile.

Mu Rulan wasn't swayed. She smirked. "Misunderstanding?"

"That's right. We were only joking with this miss. If you are unhappy, I can apologize to the both of you instead," Dong Sixuan said, moving closer as the smile on his face grew unbearably sexy.

"Indeed. We are quite unhappy. Please apologize." Mu Rulan said smilingly.

Dong Sixuan never imagined that Mu Rulan would speak that way. The smile on his face froze. Who wouldn't see that he was just giving them a way out. As long as they said they wouldn't mind the matter, it would be resolved. But in the end Mu Rulan had actually not taken that road?

"You..." It was impossible for Sang Han'er to apologize, especially to the person she hated the most, but before she could finish speaking, Dong Sixuan interrupted her.

Dong Sixuan smiled a gentleman's smile, putting one hand on his chest and bowing like a prince. "Ladies, please allow me to apologize for our mistakes."

Mu Rulan smiled. "Since you've apologized, we're forgiving your impudence. But I still think that you should mind who you bring along the next time you step out of the house. Else people might think you were born without manners."

His expression froze as his blue eyes widened behind his sunglasses. He had never imagined this woman would be so unkind to him!

It was too bad Mu Rulan had no plans to continue wasting time with them. She went with Taishi Niangzi to enter the restaurant. Sang Han'er was so angry she stomped her feet.

When the woman at the counter saw Mu Rulan, she smiled and prepared to welcome her. But in the end, a white figure slipped before Mu Rulan and Taishi Niangzi. "I have a room reserved."

The woman glanced at Mu Rulan, and seeing her nod, she handled Sang Han'er first. "Hello, welcome to Loulan Court. What is your surname?"

"Sang."

"Alright, Miss Sang. Your room is on the third floor, room 303."

Sang Han'er didn't leave immediately, instead turning back to look proudly at Mu Rulan. "Do you guys have a reservation?"

Taishi Niangzi rolled her eyes. When would this woman learn to stop?

"Looks like you don't know anything. That's why I hate the nouveau riche the most. They smell like copper, hmmph! But since we've met a few times now, if you beg me I can arduously bring you up to my room?" Sang Han'er acted as though she was doing Mu Rulan a kindness.

Mu Rulan smiled as she looked at Sang Han'er speaking on her own. She didn't voice a response as the woman behind the counter glared more as Sang Han'er waxed on.

As she finished gloating, the manager had heard the news and came down immediately and welcomed, "You're here."

Sang Han'er thought the manager was calling her. Overwhelmed by the unexpected favor, she acted calm and said, "Mm..."

"Just now the chairman called to ask whether you like the new dishes. He said if it wasn't to your taste, he just hired some new chefs." The manager didn't bother glancing at Sang Han'er, passing her by to speak with Mu Rulan.

The surprise had Sang Han'er's eyes popping out as she stared with disbelief.

Mu Rulan nodded. "I see. I like the new dishes very much."

"Good. Please follow me, I'll ask the kitchen to cook them for you," he said. The chairman had instructed that the purpose of Loulan Court was to serve Mu Rulan food, so pleasing Mu Rulan was the first priority.

"Ah, that's right," said Mu Rulan. "Help me order a feast for this Miss and that gentleman together. You can put the bill in my name. Miss Sang, Mr. Dong, don't hold back and enjoy yourselves. There's only one Loulan Court in K City."

No words were more lethal than these!
