"In the end, we really did end up going," Lucy said as she stared up at the sun shining down brightly.

"But, of course," Karma grinned.

Lucy stood there in a one-piece white dress with a beige, knitted cardigan over her shoulders. A white ribbon hung from behind her ear, holding together the side braid while the rest of her hair trailed down behind her. Karma wore a white tee underneath a short-sleeved, red, collared, unbuttoned blouse with. He had on a pair of dark khaki pants paired with white sneakers.

The two stood at a bus stop and as it arrived, got on and took a seat next to each other. If it hadn't come to her as a surprise, she wouldn't have agreed in the heat of the moment and thinking back, she wanted to bury herself in a hole. How could she have made such a mistake? In the first place, she didn't even know why he had asked her for such a request and taking his personality into account, she wondered if this was his way of teasing her. She glanced at him from the corner of her eyes and he looked out the window with a blank look, his gaze sharp but soft. She relaxed a bit and decided to let it slide. The mistake was on her part and rather than calling a date, it was more suitable to see it as an outing. Contrary to her initial, negative thoughts, this might not be so bad.

"Where are we going?" she turned to him.

He turned to her and grinned. "You'll see."

She stared at him before turning her head back to the front of the bus. They rode on in silence but it wasn't awkward in the slightest. She didn't know why but she trusted him. Her heart was put at ease and she closed her eyes, nodding off to the monotonous rhythm of the bus. Karma saw her doze off and reached out, placing her head on her shoulder before glancing out the window again. But this time, he wore a fond smile.

A while later~

"This is Shinnishihara. Once again, this is Shinnishihara," the driver announced and Lucy felt a tug on her hand and she looked up to see Karma.

"Come on, let's go," he grinned.

Lucy blindly followed him as the two got off the bus.

"Thank you for riding and have a good day," the bus announced before closing its doors and driving along to the next stop.

Lucy looked around at the surroundings and saw countless forests, roads, and plains before widening her eyes as she laid her eyes on the scenery before her. On a clear, sunny day like this, one could see it clearly without a cloud in sight covering it. The scenery was breath-taking as it towered over them for sitting right there was Mt. Fuji. Her brown orbs lit up and Karma smiled, knowing that she liked these things. Living the life of an assassin, her surroundings had become a monotonous red so for her, seeing the beauty that the world possessed, there was nothing more fulfilling than that.

"Pretty," she continued to stare at it.

"It's a shame that that's not the main attraction for today," he said.

Lucy looked at him and blinked her eyes.

He grinned and met her gaze. Holding onto her hand, he dashed forward and Lucy followed after him. The two ran along the road without stopping and her hair flowed behind her as she was dragged along without an explanation. But soon, they began to slow down and holding a hand forward, he flashed a bright smile and turned around to face her. The sun shone brightly down and Lucy widened her eyes slightly as she saw the place where he had taken her to.

"We're here," he said. "Fuji-Q Highland!"

Rides operated and the sound of the roller coaster tracks vibrating against the carts rang through the air. Laughter was heard around as mascots surrounded the front of the gate and at the entrance of the park, handing out balloons to the kids. Friends and couples walked about, each one having the time of their life as they raced to get onto the next ride.
