"Jace!" Kelly cried as she hugged her one and only son. "Thank goodness you're okay!" Jace smiled slightly, hugging his mother back.
Jace was glad to see his mother, she meant the world to him. He looked over his mother's shoulder at his two best friends, offering a small smile to them.
"I'm fine, mum," Jace said, pressing his cheek against his mother's. "Just have to get some tests, that's all."
An half hour later, the doctor came to take Jace's tests. When Jace returned to his hospital room, Casey didn't waste anytime and hugged his short boyfriend.
"I'm glad you are okay, Jace," Casey whispered, kissing his boyfriend's cheek. Jace smiled and hugged Casey back, missing the feeling of his hugs. Jace sat down on his hospital bed and Casey sat next to him.
"They said it might take a while for the results to come back," Jace's mum said, walking into the hospital room with some food. "I brought you some food, you must be starving, Jace,"
Jace took the food from his mum gratefully, not hesitating to chomp down. The rest of the night was calm; Alex and Finn hung out for a bit but left at around 10pm, Jace's mum went home because she had work in the morning, and Jace and Casey were cuddling.
Jace was half asleep as he looked up at his boyfriend and pouted. "Can you stay here overnight? Please?? I missed you," he whispered.
Casey looked down at the blonde haired boy and grinned, kissing his forehead. "How could I say no to your cute face?"
