Jace was out of the hospital a few days later, having only a concussion. He couldn't go to school for a few days, so he and Casey would hang out at Jace's house after school. Today was one of those days; Jace was waiting patiently in his living room for his punk boyfriend. The tv was on, but Jace paid no attention to the show that was playing; he was too focused on how slowly the time passed.
Jace glanced up at the clock, sighing as he realized it had only been a few minutes since he last checked the time. His leg was bouncing impatiently as he waited; when the doorbell finally rang, Jace scrambled off of the couch and towards the front door. Jace grinned as he yanked the door open, engulfing his boyfriend in a big hug.
Casey laughed, hugging the smaller boy back. "Miss me or something?" He asked, grinning into Jace's curls.
"Mhmm," Jace hummed, pulling Casey close and connecting their lips for a minute. "It's so boring without you."
The two boys manoeuvred into Jace's house, sitting on the couch that Jace had previously been sitting on. Casey put his arm around Jace's shoulder as the blonde haired boy snuggled up to him.
"Wanna watch a movie?" Jace asked, pointing the tv remote towards the tv. He flipped through various tv channels, looking for something that might entertain the two of them.
Casey glanced at the tv, humming into response to the question Jace had asked him. His eyes were drawn to look at the blonde haired boy that he had fallen so deeply for; Casey was too distracted by Jace's beauty to notice that he was talking to him.
"Casey?" Jace said, snapping his fingers in front of Casey's face. "Are you even liste—Mmph!" Jace was taken by surprise by Casey pressing their lips together, a deep blush spreading across his face.
"I love you so much, Jace," Casey whispered against his boyfriend's lips, only waiting for a moment before slowly kissing him again.
Jace kisses him back, resting his hands loosely around Casey's neck. The atmosphere around them began to melt, both of them instantly attempting to deepen the kiss. He felt Casey's hands tangled in his hair, pulling his head back slightly to get better access of Jace's neck. His lips traveled along Jace's jaw, stopping at the space just under his ear and sucked lightly; Jace's breath hitched and a small whimper escaped his lips.
"Casey," Jace whispered, his voice weak. Casey sensed Jace's nervousness and pulled away, looking at his boyfriend.
"We don't have to do this if you don't want to," Casey said, pressing his forehead against Jace's. "It's okay if you're not ready,"
A deep pink blush had begun to spread across Jace's cheeks. "No, I want to..." he said, smiling reassuringly at Casey.
Casey returned the smile, kissing his blonde haired boyfriend's cheek. "If you want to stop, tell me and we'll stop, yeah?"
"Yeah,"
