Richie adjusted his huge glasses that perfectly magnified his beautiful brown eyes. his cheeks many different shades of pink and red. It was a cold and rainy day in Derry.. so the two decided to have a movie night, even though neither were really paying attention to the TV, just each other. they usually had movie nights followed by sleepovers every other weekend, but they decided it just be themselves this time. you would expect they'd be tired of movies by now.. which they pretty much were. eddie rolled his eyes yet still giggled as richie made the 3rd 'ur mom' joke during the movie. richie was well known in his friend group for his dirty jokes, in fact every word that came out of his mouth that wasn't for eddie was.. very dirty. right then, the only time they decided to look at the TV, the two main characters were having an intense kissing scene.
"ewwww what the fuck"
richie gagged as he covered eddies eyes
"hey!"
"do you really want to see them kissing? it will ruin your innocent eyes, it will scar you for life eddie weddie" he joked, eddie laughed and pushed richies hand away.
"eee maybe you're right, maybe i don't want to watch them kissing"
so instead they faced each other, hands covering their sight of the movie. stereotypically they would have kissed as well, but nope, they just sat in silence. the make out session should be over by now, as its been about 2 minutes.
"who kisses for that long, really?"
eddie agreed with a smile on his face, although he didn't like the movie, he liked being in his crush's  company. there was nothing as special as being around richie tozier. anyways, one thing lead to another and now the characters are having sex. awkward moans came from the tv, as the two both made disgusted faces.
"you know what lets just....... not watch this" 
rich, or fuck face, as all of their friends would call him grabbed the remote and turned it off.

it was silent between the two, and they weren't sure if it was because they were basically watching porn together on a big screen while cuddling or if it was because they both liked each other....... uhh who even adds that much of a graphic scene in a movie??
"eds, theres something i need to tell you... ive been meaning to for a while but..."
richie felt his throat become tight, he wasn't so mentally prepared to be let down and rejected.
"I love y-"

eddies eyes opened. "really?" he whispered to himself, hoping his mother wouldn't hear it, knowing her she'd probably take her son to the ER for sleep talking and get him on a new, scary medication with horrible side affects, just like the rest. he felt his heart breaking. why did it have to be a dream? why was the universe being so cruel to eddie? when he thought he finally found what he wanted, it slipped right through his small fingers. a salty tear ran down his red cheek, he could only hope richie would visit him the same day when he went to bed.
