finally, i can go home. Eddie always walked to school and back by himself. however, in his dreams tozier walked with him. he liked to pretend his friend was with him at all times when he was awake, but he worried about being weird as he thought of richie as an imaginary friend sometimes.

"I like your pants, eds"
"thanks mr fuck face, i got them 20% off"
"they'd look better if they were 100% off, my love"
"richie thats not how sales work! pants aren't just free! you're such an idiot!"
richie chuckled
"thats not what i meant eds-"
"you'd be a horrible salesman"

he warmly smiled as the little flashback of one of his dreams came back to mind. his smile went away as he finally got the joke.
"ewww"
eddie muttered to himself with a disgusted face. he felt he was obligated to say 'ew', as anyone else would.. after all richie was probably just joking, right? but in his mind he didnt really care. i mean when you love someone-

stanley has never been big on video games, like all the other boys his age, but he bought some new games just for his friends eds and bev to play, as he knew the both of them weren't allowed to be anywhere near console games at their own houses. eddies mother thought all video games were shooting games, and of course no mother like sonia would let her son take part in anything like that. it would be 'too harmful for his innocent little mind'. and of course Beverly's dad was always passed out with the tv on, so she never really actually had a chance to watch or play anything on it.
stanley silently watched as his friends fought on street fighter.. didnt eddie say richies favorite game is street fighter? he then remembered the 'handsome, sweet, caring, kind, adorable, charming' boy eddie was always going on about wasn't real.  real. stan imagined that if only rich was a real person, he'd be in their friend group too. yes, they all were happy with having just each other but, to be honest, they all wanted at least one more person, so when one of them was busy and couldn't hang out it wouldn't be just two of them. eddie was always complaining that all he wanted was to be with richie, for real. it was like a long distance relationship, but without the real relationship and the two could only talk when he was asleep. he explained that the boy 'trashmouth' felt like his soulmate, no one has ever made him feel like that before. stanley was like eddies big brother, well only by a year, but they were super close. stan always looked out for eds, he helped him with homework, etc. uris always wanted the best for his younger friend. if eddie was going to have a boyfriend/girlfriend, he would try his best to make sure they made him happy. the way he talkes about richie, he's obviously more than happy around him.. not like they are going to date though.. unless the boy shows up at eds front door to confirm he exists.
