the eight losers sat together in mikes incredibly decorated for halloween basement. bill, beverly and georgie drew together, ben and mike talked about books, stanley was studying birds by himself
"how ya doin stan the man?" mike giggled
eddie rested his head on richies lap while they both ate the absolute worst junk food out there.
"if junk food isnt good for you, why is it so fucking good?"
"shh rich theres children here"
"what children? you?"
eddie rolled his eyes playfully as he glanced over at georgie.
"oh come on eds, even he's more mature then you, and he's nine!"
"not true!"
"you know its true, my love"
richie played with eddies slightly wavy, walnut brown hair. he loved every second he spent with the shorter boy. he didn't care if his parents didn't approve of their friendship, richie would do anything and more to be with his ... kind of boyfriend. all trashmouth ever wanted was to be accepted by his mother and father. he always made himself out to be a lot tougher than he is. he would be fine and content around his family, but deep inside everything was falling apart.
(TW ABUSE/HOMOPHOBIA)
he was verbally and physically abused most of his life. growing up, rich constantly heard "homosexuality is a sin", and that his parents "wouldn't tolerate him being gay or bi", while he secretly had the biggest fucking crush on his best friend, that was also a male. he tried his best to pretend those feelings didn't exist around both eddie and his family. the boy always pretended to like girls, trying his best to avoid more bruises and scars from his parents...
"look at my painting, ben!"
georgie knew ben was super interested in clowns, so he decided to paint one for him, red paint bleeding down from its eyes to its mouth.
"aww i love it! youre so talented georgie" ben genuinely beamed
honestly, most of the losers home lives sucked ass, but at least they had each other. every since they all met, each and everyone of their lives has been easier. all of them finally have something that makes life worth it.

eddie had expected to be dead by now, his eyes closed as tight as they possibly could be.. he was shaking more than he ever has in his entire life. but instead of feeling a sharp pain through his own chest, he heard a familiar scream as it echoed through out eddies ears. his eyes opened, curiosity and fear filling his mind
"RICHIE!"
eddie didn't know what to do or how to react. he was feeling so many emotions at once. tears formed in his almond shaped eyes. why couldn't it have been himself? surely being impaled wouldn't hurt nearly as bad as losing the boy he loved most. richies weak body fell to the ground at once, his glasses flying off and blood staining his white shirt. the rest of the losers couldn't do anything other than watch and mourn the near loss of their best
"i love you eddie."
richie smiled the best he could at the moment. tears fell out of both of their eyes. eddie refused to believe this was happening, it couldn't be.
"please dont leave me" eds cried out,
choking on his own tears. it was hard for him to even speak. but it was too late. eddie held onto richies hand as tight as he possibly could.
"i love you too richie.."
