Saturday, October 15th 2019 "Get ready lads, kick off is in 5 minutes." Hugo said "Alright, where are my boots?" Son asked "You lost your boots?" I asked "Yeah, I swear I brought them but I can't find them." I then heard Dele snickering a bit and I saw him holding Son's boots "Uh Sonny, maybe you should ask Dele if he's seen them." I laughed Son then turned around and saw Dele with the boots "You sneaky son of a gun!" Son shouts Dele just laughs and hands him the boots "Alright guys, time to go!" Hugo says
We walked out of the tunnel and onto the pitch, my first away match with Spurs and I was probably more nervous than ever. Everyone in the stadium had some sort of hatred towards me because I was in their football stadium facing their team. The pressure mounted on me was intense but I just had to fight through it for these 90 minutes. We shook hands and went into our halves, the Brighton players kicked off and the game began.
3' The Brighton player went down the left wing and fakes to cross which Lamela failing to be bothered to block it. The ball was then crossed into the box and it lands at Hugo's hands. He trips backwards however and drops the ball whilst landing on his hand. The Brighton striker then headed the ball in. Hugo was on the floor in pain because when he landed, his arm bent backward.

(Actually happened in this game and at first I almost threw up😂) Whilst most of the players realised Hugo's condition, they called on the Tottenham Physios who took 7 minutes to take Hugo off of the pitch on a stretcher.
15' Gazzaniga was called into action off the Tottenham bench and passed the ball upfield where it met Son, he then passed the ball to me in the centre. I took a touch with my left and shot with my right but the Brighton keeper was equal to my shot.
27' I tackled the midfielder and made a break down the right wing, I then crossed it in to Son who headed the ball but it went over the bar
32' The Brighton striker shot from inside the box and Gazzaniga got to it however he couldn't hold onto the ball and the Brighton player got the ball back and scored
45' It was half time and I didn't think we could come back from that, now that Hugo's injured our season could practically be over
I went into the dressing room and sat down and sighed, Son came up to me and sat down as well. "This is one tough match." He said "I just feel for Hugo, did you see his arm?" I replied "Yeah, how long do you think he'll be out?" "At the very least until February or March, to be honest I think we'll struggle in our matches from here on." We just sat there patiently waiting for the second half so that we could get back onto the pitch. I didn't think that the match would go like this but anything can happen to be honest. I just wanted to make sure that the team had another 3 points so that we were one step closer to winning the premier league. "Alright everyone, second half let's go!" Poch said I went back out onto the pitch and took a deep breath, I needed to win.
46' We kicked off for the second half of the game, time to bounce back
54' I was dribbling through the defence and passed it to Son who was making the run through, he shot with his left but the ball hit the post and went out for a goal kick
65' The Brighton striker, Connolly, dribbled down the right and into our box, he then finessed the ball with the inside of his right foot, and the ball went into the bottom right corner. We were now 3-0 down
72' Son passed the ball to me and I dribbled into the box, I had no defenders on me so I took the shot and it went into the top left corner. I celebrated by clapping and returning to the centre circle since I didn't have much energy left
73' Poch must've seen that I couldn't go much longer and decided to sub me off "Substitution for number 94, (Y/n) (L/n) for number 52, Troy Parrott." I walked off the pitch and shook Poch's hand, he then said "Well done, you did your best." I then went to sit on the subs bench next to Tanguy Ndombele
81' Brighton almost scored once more but luckily Gazzaniga saved it and the ball got cleared
86' Harry Winks passed the ball to Christian who managed a lofted through ball to Troy who shot but it didn't come off of his foot correctly and missed the goal
90' The referee blew the full time whistle and I got up and went down the tunnel with the rest of the players
While walking down the tunnel, I heard someone calling my name "(Y/n)! Excuse me, (Y/n)!" I turned to see where the voice was coming from and it was an interviewer, I then went over to them "Do you have time for an interview?" The man asked "Sure I guess." The camera crew then started and I was being asked questions "With a 3-1 defeat to Brighton, how do you think you played today?" "Well you win some and you lose some, I feel like the team was a bit tired today with the whole Champions League midweek. Personally I feel I could've played way better today." "Ok next question, Hugo Lloris got injured 3 minutes into the game, how do you think this will affect the team over the coming months?" "Well I think that we need to be prepared for anything, Gazzaniga will try and step up and fill in for Hugo. I think that the team will try to remain focused in this time and will try to pull through until we can have a bit of rest." "Ok final question, passing was one of your team's main issues today, how do you think Spurs can be helped short term?" "Well the international break is coming up right now so I think it'll give everyone in the squad some room to breathe and time to gather themselves. Normally a break is what you need so that you can relax yourself. But other than that I think once we all come back to regular training then we can go over our errors in proper detail." "Thank you for your time, this was Sky Sports News coming to you after the 3-1 Brighton triumph over Tottenham Hotspur."
