Part 44: The best we have to offer

Miss Davis and I started getting to work and we were registering peoples names down, we were practically at the end and only had two people left in the queue. I looked up and saw a familiar face.
"Ren! You made it." I said
"Of course I did, you said you were going to help me. And above that you're instead helping not just me but everyone else here."
"Well the truth is this has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I believe you were the person that made me decide why not." I said
"Well I'm glad to hear it!"
I then look next to him to see a girl about 5'6 with long, light brown hair done up into twintails. Her eyes were a shade of violet and was wearing a school uniform.
"Woah." I said
I had never seen violet eyes before
"Oh right, this is my sister Akeno Tanaka."
"Nice to meet you." She said nervously and bowed
"Nice to meet you too." I said

"I'm guessing you've never seen violet eyes before." Ren laughed
"No, never." I said
"That explains the reaction, that's what happens with most people when they see her for the first time."
"I see, well are both of you signing up or is it just you Ren?" I asked
"Well I only brought Akeno because my mother asked so just m-"
"I want to play!" Akeno cut in
"Akeno I told you about this, do you know how much it'll cost for you to play too?" Ren said to her
"Actually, it's free for everyone." I stared
"Really?" Ren asked
"Yeah."
"Well in that case fine, it looks like both of us are signing up!"
"Great, all I need is your contact info and then you can pick out some boots to use for the training session." I said
"Wait, we get new football boots?" Ren asked excitedly
"Yeah, but only for training. You can keep them if you secure a pro contract."
"A pro contract, I wished."
"Well you never know, go and pick out some boots and we'll join the others and get started on the training session."

After Ren and Akeno left the room, Miss Davis turned to me and said
"Do you think some of them will really be able to get pro contracts?"
"It depends on how much they want it and how much effort they're willing to put in. I already have a hunch we'll be seeing a few get some offers before I go back to England."
"Well knowing you, you can train these guys and yourself simultaneously. You can grow with them."
"I plan to. Over the next month and a half I will have completed my training and will be ready to play again, but this is only the start, soon there will be many different training methods and many different locations all across the globe."
"You have big dreams, are you sure it'll become reality?"
"Definitely, now come on we have players to train."

Montage time
(I don't intend for it to be lazy if you guys were wondering, it's just that I can't cover everything I want to without putting so many boring chapters in which you guys wouldn't want to read)
Over the next month, everything was falling into place and it couldn't be better, Akeno was a hidden gem that shocked me at first and I wasn't the only shocked person. Everyone including her brother couldn't believe how quick she picked up on football.

It was also hard trying to train the Korean players, I'd have to video call them every time they were training, I didn't mind it though. Joseph's brother Henry would come over and help them every now and again in between dance practice, since he used to play himself, It really helped reduce the work load at times.

My martial arts training was a bit rocky at the start then it quickly picked up pace and I was excelling at a rate that Sensei didn't think was possible. I had eventually completed almost everything and Sensei allowed me to do Kendo.

Hiking up Mount Fuji everyday became easy and I got faster everyday, sometimes I ran just to see how fast I could get up and down, the result was me tripping and falling flat on my face but it's just a part of learning.

And after long days and nights of devising plans and strategies, I was finally ready to set a huge plan into nation involving the top performing players at training.
