The TARDIS materialises outside a rather shabby looking apartment block.
"This is me," Poppy says when she steps out of the TARDIS. They'd just dropped Donna off and now it was her turn.
"What are you going to do now?" The Doctor asked
"Well, unlike Donna, my life hasn't been destroyed," The Doctor grimaced "I'll just continue as normal,"
"Which is?"
"Work my arse off to become a teacher,"
"Teacher of what?"
"History," The Doctor laughed
"Donna wasn't kidding when she called you a History Geek," They laugh until it dies down slightly.
"You remind me of someone," The Doctor raised an eyebrow "My parents used to tell me stories. But," she paused "I can't remember...I can't remember a lot of things," The Doctor looked deep in thought.
"You're welcome on bored if you want,"
"Na,"
"That's fine..." The Doctor goes to leave
"I have to look after Donna, get my degree. Live my life a bit," The Doctor nods "Thank you," The Doctor shuts the door "Doctor!" he pops his head back out "Good luck,"
"You too,"
----------&---------
"Why do you like her so much?" The Doctor asks the TARDIS but gets no response. He sighs and lets a tear fall before pulling a lever "alone again..."
