The next day arrived and everyone woke up by 7am...except Namjoon. Joonie was feeling sleepy so he slept off a little longer and nobody disturbed him, and decided to wake him up some time later.
It was 9am now and Sathya's grandpa went upstairs to wake him up, by knocking the door.
"Namjoon? Hey, Namjoon? Rise and shine!! It's morning now!!", He said loudly while knocking on Namjoon's door.
Joonie slowly got up, looking like a sleeping mess...his hair fuzzy, and he kept blinking for a few seconds, until snapping back to reality.
"Oh Grandpa...*yawns*...good morning!! Did I over sleep??", he asked.
"It's alright...you must've been very tired...Breakfast is ready downstairs...come down when you're ready, ok? I'll go downstairs now...", said her Grandpa.
"Okay grandpa...", he said and grandpa went downstairs again.
Namjoon got up and brushed his teeth, took a shower and got changed into some comfortable clothes he'd usually wear at home. Then he locked his room and went downstairs.
"Good morning, Grandma and Grandpa!! How you all doing?", Namjoon asked them like a cool dude.
"Good morning, Joonie!! We're swell, and you??", they replied back like cool dudes.
"I'm great!! By the way, where's Sathya??", Namjoon asked, looking all around for her.
"Oh her!! She has class today so she left at 7.45am...she'll be back in the evening by 3pm, I guess...", said her grandma.
"Oh ok!! So grandma and grandpa...I was wondering if we all could go to the beach this evening...it's the Marina Beach, right? The world's second longest beach!!", Joonie asked.
"Yeah, the Marina Beach!! Of course...but if Sathya gets homework or has to study for a test tomorrow, she won't be coming with us...so let's ask her first in the evening when she returns...", said her grandpa.
"Oh ok...", said Namjoon.
"How about I read a nice story from the Panchatantra? It'll be interesting...", said her grandma.
"What's the Panchatantra, grandma??", Namjoon asked.
"It's a collection of short stories from Indian authors...people of all ages love to read them here!!", said her grandma.
"Oh goodie!! Do read them please...it feels like my own grandma reading bedtime stories to me, hehe!!", Namjoon giggled, showing his dimples.
"Yeah...and this grandma will read you morning time stories too!!", said her grandma and smiled.
"Wow, I love that, grandma!! You're so sweet!!", said Namjoon, happily.
"I tell good stories too!!", said her grandpa, joining in.
"Of course you do, honey!! But you should come in line...I'm first haha!!", said her grandma and they all started laughing.
Then Namjoon ate his breakfast while Sathya's grandma read him some stories from the Panchatantra. Her grandpa was happy to see them all bonding, as it felt like Namjoon was their own grandson. Then he finished eating in a while...her grandma read about 10 stories in that time!!
"Wow grandma!! I love these stories!! Do read some more!!", Joonie squealed.
"But it's my turn now!!", said her grandpa, and he jumped in.
"Don't bore him with any lame stories, alright?", asked her grandma, teasing grandpa.
"We'll see, old lady!!", said her grandpa.
