•Leilani POV•

Being back is surreal; I'm with all of my friends.

The gang is really different than I thought it would be. Everyone is super calm and there isn't much drama.

One of the things I do, now that I'm
out of the hospital, is read. I've really grown a liking to reading. It makes me stay in the moment and focus on what's happening now.

I don't focus on what happened earlier, I try not to think about it much.

I'm happier during the day, but there are times where I do have nightmares that keep me up.

One night, Luke walked in my room and had to wake me up because it was so bad.
•Flashback•

Luke POV

I woke up to really loud screaming and realized that it was a girl.

Leilani.

"Oh s**t!" I mumbled.

I jumped out of bed and threw on a nearby shirt.

I sprinted over to her room and slammed her door open and saw her still in her bed, asleep.

She was sweating, screaming, and shaking.

I ran over to her and pulled her into my chest.

"Shhhhhh," I said soothingly. "Leilani, it's me, Luke."

She began to calm down.

"Shhh, it's okay baby."

At this point, she was awake but sobbing.

She was now about asleep again and I put her down.

I started to leave when I heard a quiet, "Wait."

I turned back around and waited for her to say something.

I could tell that she was super tired but then she mumbled, "Can you stay with me tonight?'

I walked back over to the bed and crawled in on the opposite side and took my shirt off before I pulled her into my body.

Encasing her into my arms, as she fell right back asleep again.

Eventually, I fell asleep too.

When I woke up, the sun was beginning to rise.

I realized what had just happened and quickly but carefully crawled out of her bed.

I couldn't fall for her again, especially when I knew she deserved someone much better than me.

I pulled my shirt back on and walked out of the room.

"That can never happen again," I thought to myself.

•End of Flashback•

By the time I woke up, he was gone and I don't know why he left so soon. I was woken by him climbing out of my bed.

Did I do something wrong?

He comforted me and left really early.

It was really confusing.

Max was out and the rest of the boys were calming down.

It was about 8:00 p.m. and I heard a really loud argument coming from Luke's office.

I decided to get out of bed and check it out.

I snuck out of my room and crept over to where his office was.

The curtain was closed on the glass door, but I could hear who was all in there.

It was Noah and Luke arguing about something.

I was about ready to leave, but then I heard something about how Luke didn't want to fall for some girl.

"I don't wanna fall for her again, there's no point," Luke said.

"You can't let one thing that broke you, ruin your whole entire love life Luke. We've been over this, we haven't seen her in over a year. Yes, she fu**ed you over but you need to let her go. She's not worth ruining your life over," Noah said sincerely back.

"I don't give a f**k about how long we haven't seen her or talked to her. She broke my heart and caused me all this pain. I'm like this because of her, I shouldn't have ever even approached her. I should of let it alone and listened to my gut. I hate myself so much," Luke said with a sigh.

"Luke things happen like this. People in this world can be very deceiving and evil. She was one of them, you couldn't have guessed that," Noah said very calmly.

"I'm just going to stop pursuing her and give up. I'm leaving her alone because all I'm gonna do is be the guy that f**ks her up and ruins her life. I don't wanna be that to her, she doesn't deserve anything bad that has happened to her. If she wants to pursue me, then that's her choice, but I'm not going out of my way to make her mine," Luke said probably holding the bridge of his nose.

He always does that.

I just want to know who they are talking about.

Who hurt Luke and who does Luke not want to hurt?

Wow, I haven't updated in almost three months, that's a long time.
