•Leilani POV•

I heard Luke walking out the front door.

He had one suitcase in his hands.

He was going to leave.

"You don't have to leave, I can go. It's fine, I'll figure it out," I whispered out.

He stopped in his tracks turned around and faced me.

"Leilani, no I'm leaving. I have another house. It's fine, don't worry."

"I don't belong here anyway, Max and I can leave. We have no place here. You saved me, it's time for me to leave."

"I didn't even save you, Leilani. That wasn't me, it was Noah. You should like Noah, not me. I'm the bad guy here, you don't deserve to be here when I am here. All I do is mess up and I made you cry. I made you cry, Leilani. No guy you love or want to be with should make you cry because they were f**ked up themselves; because they don't know what they want. You shouldn't have to be hurt. I'm leaving." Luke's voice broke like he was on the verge of crying.
The strongest person I knew was about to cry.

"I don't know what I feel right now, Luke. I don't like Noah like that at all. He's like the older brother I've never had. I don't hate you. If I were to figure out my feelings I would have to spend time with you or I would overthink everything you did or said. I doubt that you would want to do that right now, but please don't leave. If you leave it will be all my fault and I won't be able to stomach that. I don't wanna cry again because I'll think that it's my fault. Maybe it is, maybe I'm the reason all of this is happening. Maybe you shouldn't have saved me." I was looking at the ground at this point and I was so close to breaking.
He walked over to me and pulled me into a hug.
I felt his tears fall down my face and I hugged him back.

Knowing that I made him cry, made me start to cry.

It was midnight and here we were outside of his mansion, crying.

We were just standing there holding each other.

I started shivering and he pulled me closer, if that was possible.

"Let's go to my other house, Leilani. We can talk there."

Luke grabbed my hand and took me to his car.

I got in on the passenger side and he got in on the other side.

We arrived at his second house, it was smaller than the one I've been staying at.

He gave me the key to open the door while he locked his car and got his suitcase.

I unlocked the door and held it open so he could walk in.

"Follow me," Luke said walking towards a huge staircase.

I followed behind him and into what looked like his bedroom.

He put his suitcase down as I sat on his bed.

"Are you hungry?" Luke said unpacking his suitcase.

"A little. Why, are you?"

"Yeah, I kinda want to get food and not really cook anything." Luke said putting on some sweatpants and took his shirt off to put on a hoodie. I tried not to look, but I can't say it wasn't tempting.

"Okay we can do that, I don't really care where we go. I'm just tired and kinda cold."

"Are you sure you don't care because a lot of girls say they don't care even when they know what they want, they just don't say it. It doesn't make much sense."

I laughed at his comment as he passed me one of his hoodies.

"Yes I'm sure, I just wanna eat and then go to bed. All of the crying I've been doing made me tired." I put on his hoodie.

"I'm sorry for making you cry, Leilani. I feel so bad." Luke put his head down and clasped his hands around mine.

I pulled him in for a hug, "I know you are sorry, it's okay. Can we talk about it while we eat or we could even talk after we get some sleep?"

"Yeah we can talk when we eat, but we better get going then."

He kissed my forehead before letting me go.

I got in the car after he opened my door and walked to his side.

Luke is really starting to show a side that I didn't know he had.

I'm kind of enjoying it and it's nice to have him be affectionate to me.

When he drove, he had his hand on my thigh and was rubbing it up and down.

We ate our food and just listened to music on the way back.

I must have fallen asleep on the way back because the next thing I knew was him talking me out of the car.

I looked up at him and smiled.

"Go back to sleep, baby." He said to me and rubbed my back.

I snuggled into his chest and fell right back asleep.

Looks like we are talking later.
