I open my eyes to Karen and angel in her hand as I smile and raise my head up
"hey" I say
"Tiana, how do u feel" she says
"fine" I say
"you passed out cause of the stress" she says
"is my baby fine" I say
"yes, I made sure the doctor check her too" Karen says and I sit up and carry angel and gave a kiss
"what about Justine" I say
"it's okay, it's only self defense and the police heard everything and he is in the hospital too, he is having an operation for the bullet and he is being sent to a proper institute" she says
"how about drake" I say
"you ain't feeling well and you asking about everyone except yourself" she says
"I need to know drake is okay" I say
"he had his last surgery and it was successful and everything will be fine" she says and I take a deep breath as the door opens and I see my mom and my Nana
"tiana" my mom says in tears as she rushed to hug me
"mom" I say crying too
"am so sorry, am sorry sorry Nana" I say
"no, my child" my Nana says as she hugs me too
"am sorry tiana" my mom says
"I know better now mom and I should have never treated to the way I did,am a horrible child" I say
"no,don't say that,you are my joy no matter what and I will always love you" my mom says as she hugs me again
"I love you you so much" I say in forever and it feels good and I can see the glitter in her eyes as she carries angel from me
"I love you too my dear" Nana says
"I love you too Nana" I say hugging Nana as she kissed me
"she looks so much like you" my mom says and I smile
"my great grand daughter is so beautiful like her mother and grandmother and even great grandmother" Nana says as we laugh together and we hug in a circle and that space that has always been empty in my heart feels filled and contained.
So everything I always wanted was in my reach but I could understand or appreciate it, I was misplaced in my own world until I found my place back to where I belong and then my peace came too.
Am fine and out of the hospital and Justine as Benn taken to an institute and finally drake is recovering so well this past couple of weeks and he is strong enough for us to take him back with us for home care.
The legal work of my divorce has been finalized cause of the assault and evidence so Justine doesn't even need to sign anymore.
Karen got reconciled with Jacob in the couple of weeks as they relocate to Germany.
Justine's mother still hates me and accuses me of doing all that to her son so I got a restraining other from her and Justine father passed on which makes her life more difficult but I actually feel pity for the man cause he was such a good person in the family and Jacob took after him especially when he got the right push from his amazing wife Karen.
Karen and I are still and always will be best of friends till and distance doesn't matter between us cause we are more than best friends, she is my sister.
I got to apologize to everyone and I got so much love from everyone and we moved back to our home town.
Months later.........
Walking through the hall with a tray of cookies and I smile at the pictures on the wall as I walk into the noise area with so much music and sound as I drop the tray I feel a hand cover me and I turn to see my husband drake as we kissed
"you shouldn't do all these works" he says
"I know baby,this is the last one, I need angels birthday to be perfect" I say
"your mom and my mom got this covered wifey,lets think of angels little brother okay" he says as he touches my pregnant stomach and I smiled
"alright my love, come on, let's go cut the cake with our daughter" I say as he holds my hand and we go over to angel who has designed herself with her cake as we both laugh
"dada" she shouts as she runs to drake and he catches her with a kiss and we went to the cake as everyone signs happy birthday to angel and I turn to drake
"thank you" I say and he laughs
"for what" he says
"everything" I say
"I love you" he says
"I love you too forver" I say as we kiss.
