Ryūko's POV:
The scenery in front of me was from green to blue, and gray. The grass blew slowly, exactly like the trees and bushes to the wind. It was a bright green color like emerald, even some pastel green. The sky was an exquisite blue color, with white clouds that adored it. The gray mountains were as tall as the sky, seemingly to reach out to it. My feet brushed the ground as I walked down the dirt pathway. The wind blew my hair lightly to each side as I stepped. My clothes were in the same steady beat, yet my breath seemed to be on a different beat with my heart.
I sighed once, adjusting my black suitcase in my left hand. You could hear a faint clanking sound from my left arm. It was just a little thing that reminded me about my arms, and that day.
"Can't believe I'm still on this mission. If I could only get by that stupid child I could have finished it off!" I muttered, kicking a rock off of the pathway.
After a few moments, the wind stopped, as well as my body. I looked around, catching a glimpse of two people a little far away from me. They looked so familiar, yet I couldn't place it. A spark then went off, causing my eyes to widen.
"Wait-"
Before I could finish the wind started up again, but going as fast as light. I held up my arm, pushing my hair out of my face as I watched everything go somewhat blurry. Then in an instant, the wind went back to normal, having me still standing there but the two people gone. I stepped a few feet towards where the two were, only to see nothing. I let out a small sigh as I adjusted my suitcase again, heading back to the path I walked before.
"Whatever that was...whoever that was...I really wish I knew." I thought.
After a few hours of walking, I reached the third town, Vanya village. After traveling from Bernia Village and Kayness Village, I haven't been able to get the job down or turn a blind eye. So I was hoping for my job to be finished here. As I entered the town, I felt the wind change, now none could be felt. The villagers looked like the normal ones I would run into, but they seemed to have hate in every part of there eyes. I brushed it off and kept walking.
I then suddenly felt something hit the back of my head. I turned, now facing a child around the age of 10. I stared at him with a monotone face as he seemed angry.
"Do you need anything?" I asked, placing my right hand on my hip.
"Get out!" The boy yelled, throwing a bigger rock at my face.
It hit my cheek, and me not feeling any pain, brushed off the little dust it left behind and scoffed.
"Sorry kid but I have some business here, and I'm not listening to a kid," I replied.
"Get out of our village!" The boy yelled again, more people walked over to me.
They were mostly kids his age, so it wasn't bad. But there were some adults, so something could happen.
"And why the hell should I listen to you? It is not my fault the military forced me here, so would you mind and tell me where Mr.Sugawara is." I demanded slightly.
"Any why should we-?!"
"Alright, that's enough!" A voice yelled, catching everyone's attention.
I looked past the people, now seeing a man. He wore a white lab coat, with a white shirt as well as black pants. He had black shoes and black gloves that showed none go his hands. He was average in height, around 5'6 ft, with a slender build. He had slightly thick eyebrows, light grey hair and hazel-brown eyes with a birthmark mole under his left eye.
I adjusted my bag to be swung over my shoulder and my right hand placed back on my hip.
"Oh, look who the cat dragged in," I commented.
