{I'm an Alchemist, not a ninja!} (Full metal alchemist x Naruto crossover)

•{NINE}• (Kinda a filler)

Ryūko's POV:

I set my flathead screwdriver down, placing one of the plates from my left arm back on. I sighed deeply, putting my tools back into the box. Once I finished I looked up, seeing an asleep Kono on my bed. I smiled and got up, picking him up and placing his head on the pillow. I tucked him fully in and went back to my desk. I set my tool box next to it and turned around, starting out of the room. Once I finished walking I made it out of the Hokage estate.

"Wonder if they have anything good to read. I'll go see if there are any libraries nearby," I thought.

I was lucky though, since there was one near the Hokage estate. I entered, immediately being greeted by an old looking woman. I waved and smiled to her, before going in one direction. I looked around, having a few books catch my eye. I stopped, looking over at them. The first one was called 'The Emerald Secret', the second 'The Outsiders' (Amazing book, absolutely recommended), and the last was 'Icha Icha Paradise'.

"These seem promising. Ya I'll get them," I said to myself, grabbing all three.

I then walked over, placing the books down. The lady then looked them over.

"You have good taste, but why this one?" She asked, holding up Icha Icha Paradise.

I shrugged, "Seems promising."

The woman didn't question any further, asking me for the money. I dug in my pocket, pulling it out, and handing it to her. She smiled and handed me the books. I thanked her and hurried out of the shop. I sat down to the side, jumping onto the fence and grabbed a random book.

"Icha Icha Paradise it is," I thought.

I placed the two other books in the bag I had and opened up Icha Icha Paradise. The first thing I saw was a big warning saying '18+' and some bullshit.

"I'm 15...ya whatever, it gotta be a good book," I thought.

I opened it up, beginning to read it. After a few sentences I got used to it. I knew where this was going, definitely.

3rd POV:

As Ryūko had her face in her book a certain group of ninja passed her. That was Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji. Choji seemed to stop and look over at the girl.

"Hey," He called out, cutting off Ino's ranting about Sasuke.

Ryūko looked up from her book, looking at Choji.

"Oh hey!" She said happily.

"Aren't you that girl that makes metal body parts for people?" Choji asked.

Shikamaru and Ino seemed confused at Choji's question. Ryūko only chuckled and scratched the back of her neck.

"Ya that's me. It's nice to meet ya, you must be part of another team of ninja. What's your name?" Ryūko asked.

"I'm Choji," Choji replied, eating another chip he had.

"I'm Ryūko, it's a pleasure to meet you. Do you mind if I join you and your team? I'm kinda bored and I don't have anything to do," Ryūko commented.

"Sure, I don't see why not," Choji replied.

Ryūko nodded, putting her book into her bag, and jumping off of the fence. Without question Choji started walking with Ryūko next to him. Shikamaru and Ino looked at each other, Ino shrugging, as they started walking behind the two.

"Can I have one?" Ryūko asked.

Choji nodded, handing the bag to Ryūko. She happily took a chip and ate it.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"We were going to a barbecue place to have lunch." Choji replied.

"Do you mind if I tag along? I can pay for the food," Ryūko asked.

"You'll pay? You just kinda popped outta nowhere though," Ino commented.

"It's something I should do though, I mean I am tagging along. So I feel it's right. Also what are your names?" Ryūko asked, looking back at Shikamaru and Ino.

"I'm Ino, and that one's Shikamaru," Ino said, pointing to Shikamaru.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you. And you're Ino? Sakura rants about you a lot," Ryūko commented.

"Sakura? Oh billboard brow? She's the worst," Ino commented.

"That means you're on the squad with Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke then," Shikamaru added.

Ryūko nodded, "That's right, though I did come in late. Something happened and I join later."

"Most likely, you weren't at the academy, though," Shikamaru said.

"It because of my clan. They don't really do ninjutsus and stuff, it's something like a Kekkei Genkai. That's also why I have no chakra," Ryūko said, "So I trained myself, being pretty far away from my clan. And I let the books teach me what I needed to know."

"Seriously? That seems impossible," Choji commented.

"Yet it isn't," Ryūko replied, looking forward again.

"We're here," Ino said, walking towards a building.

Ryūko followed close behind and entered the place, following Shikamaru to a table. He sat down and Ryūko sat down right next to him, with Ino and Choji on the other side of the table.

Ryūko's POV:

"So Ino, you're a fangirl of Sasuke right?" I asked calmly.

"She is," Shikamaru replied for her.

I nodded, "Guess so. I feel like between you and Sakura you would be a better fit for Sasuke. I guess just from the personality I know you have right now."

"Really?!" Ino asked.

"You're boosting her ego..." I heard Shikamaru mutter.

"Well of course I am! I am prettier than Sakura and I'm not going to fail at being a ninja," Ino stated, extremely confidently.

I chuckled, "Just keep it between you and me, kay?"

The meat then came out, going right on the grill. I secretly took out the lighter Coronal Mustang gave me, putting it between my hands and then putting my hand over the meat. Shikamaru was about to question before I let the fire go, from alchemy. The meat was cooked on the spot, and Choji seemed happy about it.

"How did you-"

"It's a form of what my clan can do," I said cutting off Ino, "It's called alchemy."

I smiled and grabbed a piece of meat after Choji.

"And it's really good!" I smiled.

Ino smiled somewhat and grabbed a piece of meat, and Shikamaru was right behind her. We were eating in silence, which I was fine with.

"So," I swallowed my fourth piece of meat, "What kind of jutsus do you specialize in?"

"Well I can do mind transfer jutsu, it's a really good one," Ino replied.

"Cool! So you transfer your soul to someone's body?" I asked.

"Trust me it isn't as good as it sounds," Shikamaru commented.

"You're just jealous," Ino retorted.

"And lazy," Choji added, food in his mouth.

I chuckled, "You're much livelier than my team. You act your age."

"Hey! I can take you dissing Naruto and Sakura, but I don't wanna hear you say anything about Sasuke!" Ino replied.

I shrugged and didn't respond, just kept eating. After a little I stood up, placing money down.

"I gotta go, sorry guys," I said smiling, "See you!"

At that I started off and back to the Hokage estate.
