Harry Potter Next Generation-Lily's first year

The Dance

It was the day of the dance. Everyone was excited. Lily's head was still hurting so she was less excited. She was in the Gryffindor common room with James, Fred, Roxanne, Lucy, Hugo, Jasmine and Michael. She was laying in the couch closest to the fireplace. Everyone was quiet mostly with a little bit of talking but that's all. Lily's head was in pain but she refused to go and see Madame Pomfrey.

"Merlin!! Can you lot keep your feelings and thoughts to yourselves?! You guys are doing my bloody head in!" Lily exclaimed getting off the couch and then stomping upstairs to her dorm. Just as Lily stomped in Rose and Molly walks in.

"Whoa who upset Lils now I have a feeling she's mad enough to blow up her dorm" Molly states and her and Rose look at James.

"Don't look at me Rose it's her bloody powers it getting on her nerves so don't blame me I'm not the only one who gets her mad" James says crossing his arms.

"Mmhm ok" Rose says rolling her eyes "I'm going to check on Lils" Rose says and heads up to Lily's dorm. She knocks on her door and peaks in. "Lily are you ok?" She walks in and heads over to her bed where Lily is holding her knees up to her chest and her head on her knees. "Lils go down to Pomfrey this is getting bad now" Rose says sitting on her bed next to her.

"No I'm fine Rose I just need to rest and for peoples thoughts and emotions to be a bit quieter" She laughs a little bit looking up that much.

"Ok fine" Rose says and stands up "Get some rest" Rose walked out,closed the door and walked back to the common room.

"How's she doing?" Hugo asks as Rose settles back down on the couch.

"She's in pain but won't listen to me and go see Madame Pomfrey" Rose said with a sigh.

"Lils is the most stubborn person we know Rosie she doesn't listen even if she knows it's right" Hugo said with a shrug

"Just go talk to Lysander he could probably convince her and he's in the great hall I think trying to stop whatever prank Lorcan and Louis are going to pull at the dance" Jasmine said not looking up from her book.

"Oh! I knew we were forgetting to do something Freddie" James said his mind turning. Thinking of the ideas and possibilities for pranks to pull later that night.

Rose stood up and turned to her cousins, James, Rox and Fred that is, "No you will not! You will not be pranking anyone at the dance! And don't deny it either ok? no pranks? Good" Rose turns on her heel before anyone could say anything and leave to the great hall to find Lysander.

"Lorcan please don't because if you prank Rose you are going to get in serious trouble so don't especially if it's in front of people" He pleads to his brother and best friend Louis then he spots Rose walking in and walking up to him "Hey Rose what's up?"

"Hey so since Lils is your girlfriend I was wondering if you could convince her to go see Pomfrey to get medicine or the empathy blocking potion because she's in pain but she won't listen to us" Rose said eyeing him. Lysander would've beamed when Rose said girlfriend because they were officially dating now. He got the older brother talk from both of her brothers,Teddy and Hugo which was quite weird but didn't mind because it meant being with Lily who he loved so much. He didn't beam at the word girlfriend today because he was sad and upset that Lily was hurting and wouldn't take anyone's advice and go see Madame Pomfrey.

"I wish I could she isn't listening to me either try talking to Al he's with Scorpius by Hagrid's hut" He looks for Lorcan and Louis but doesn't see them, "now I have to stop Lorcan and Louis tell Luna I'll see her at 6:00 bye" He waves then walks out of the great hall.

Back in Lily's dorm Lily was laying down trying to sleep and get the thoughts out of her head. It was quite annoying because a lot of them weren't hers. She looks at her watch "Ugh!Almost Lunch I should start heading down" She rolls off her bed and goes into the common room, she sees eyes following her as she heads towards the door and gets thoughts from others of how she's a freak from other kids and scared thoughts from her friends and cousins to see if Lily is going to blow up and yell, "OH.MY.MERLIN!You guys are getting on my nerves!Stop just waiting for me to blow my top off because at the rate you guys are going I just might!You guys are my friends and family I expected more of you guys I get that other kids think I'm a freak because I am but I never thought you guys would!God maybe I am a freak if your thoughts and emotions are true!" She starts tearing up and is almost crying then storms out of the common room. All her cousins,friends and sibling are stunned to silence.
