Harry Potter Next Generation-Lily's first year

Christmas Eve Party

It's been a couple of hours and everyone started arriving to Grimmauld Place. The grown ups were downstairs conversating in the kitchen and the living room. The kids were in the upstairs loft talking and playing games. Essentially it was another living room. Lily wasn't there, she was in her room and her cousins, siblings and friends were starting to get worried.

"I'll be there soon. We haven't seen each other all break and I want to take you somewhere. Does that sound good?"

"Definitely! I missed you Delphi. I want to work with my powers but with my family always around I couldn't." Lily said excitedly.

"Good. Now we don't want anyone suspicious so good and at least talk with your friends of family." Delphi said in her high pitched cheery voice.

"Ok! I'll see you later Delphi." Lily says opening her eyes and getting off her bed. She has a red dress with gold flowers on it and black flats. She steps out of her room and as soon as she does she sees Jasmine. Jasmine pulls her into a hug. "Hi Jazz." Lily says somewhat awkwardly.

"I haven't seen you all holiday! I've missed you! Wanna come watch Hugo and Michael play wizard chess?" Jasmine squeals. Lily nods and gets pulled into the loft. She felt some of her cousins eyes on her but shook them off. About an hour into the party Albus, Scorpius, Alice, James, Lucy, and Rose walked up to her. "Can I help you?" She asked.

"You need to stop. Delphi is not who you think she is." Albus told her. She whipped her head around to Alice and Lucy.

"I told you not to say anything!" She growled, standing up. She may be tiny, tinier than most people even who are her age, she looked fierce and looked ready to kill. You'd be crazy not to be scared of her.

"Potter! She's not ok. She tried to kill me!" Scorpius yelled.

"That's a lie!" She snapped. By now everyone was looking at the exchange. "She helped me! She cares about me ok? Just leave me alone!" A cup shattered.

"Al what's going on?" Teddy asked stepping next to the boy.

"She's been talking to Delphi." Albus said with a sigh, still not breaking eye contact with Lily.

"Delphi? As in..?" Teddy asks and Albus nods. "Should've told me.." he mutters.

"Now is not the time!" James snaps.

Lily pushes past them, "I don't care what you say! You can't stop me!"

"Luna. Think about this. Why would we lie?" Lysander pleads, stepping forward.

"To control me! My powers!" She reply's angrily. "Just stay away all of you!!!" Another glass breaks.

"Lily. Please listen!" Lucy tries to walk to her but there is a force field up around Lily.

"Lily! Stop now! Delphini is dangerous! She killed a kid last time!" Victorie says stepping up, with her hand on her back pocket where her wand is.

"Lily please!" Alice pleads looking helpless.

"Delphi? Can you come pick me up?" Lily asks and everyone is shocked to say the least. A moment later Delphi arrives with a pop.

"What's up Lils?" She says cheerily. "Hey Al and Scorpy! Long time no see! How's life been?"

"You leave my sister alone!" Albus growls. Everyone has there wands our now. But the older kids are I front of the younger ones.

"What? Not happy to see an old friend?"

"You were friends my brother and Malfoy?" Lily asks looking up at Delphi.

"Yeah but someone decided I was not a good friend..."

"You killed someone!!" Scorpius says with anger.

"Let bygones be bygones." Delphi said with a wave of a hand then turned to Lily, "Self defense."

"It was not!"

"I'm tired of this. Wanna go Lils?" Delphi asks holding out her hand.

"Luna!...Lily please listen to us! She's dangerous. She's trying to control you...not us." Lysander pleads stepping forward much to Lorcan's dismay. He has tears running down his face as do Scorpius and Victorie. But for different reasons.

Lily shakes her head. "Lils! Don't do this! You know this is wrong!" Hugo yells. "Be smart. And step away before someone gets hurt." Lily is a little away from Delphi and Teddy takes the chance to stun her. She moves quick and blocks it.

"No! I know what's right! You almost hurt her! Delphi is right about you guys!" Things start to shack and shatter. The grown ups foot steps could be heard coming up the stairs. Just as the grown ups enter the room Lily takes Delphi's hand and they disappear with a crack. Lysander finally breaks down and starts crying and is being hugged by Lorcan. Jasmine is holding her arm which is bleeding from the glass shattering, also crying. James just sits down and Alice follows. Scorpius turns to Albus and hugs him tight, barley holding in just tears. Victorie is holding Teddy's hand so tight her knuckles are white. Hugo and Michael are on the floor trying to help Jasmine. Lucy is leaning into Molly. The Weasley twins are standing and staring at the place where they disapperated. Dominique and Louis are trying to calm down Lysander and help with Jasmine also.

"What happened?" Ginny asks with a shaky breath.

"Delphi. She's been talking to Lily for months. I knew. It's my fault. Now she's gone. And Lily went willingly." James said crying. This was a rare sight. James never showed that much emotion much less cry in front of people. Alice have him a hug and rubbed comforting circles on his back.

"Delphi? She took Lily? My baby!" Ginny cried collapsing and falling to the floor. Harry bent down and hugged her. All the parents were now by there children trying to comfort them. Teddy and Victorie we're fixing Jasmine's wound. Albus felt numb he looked around. Pulled away from Scorp then walked into his room. Scorp followed him only to see him push stuff off his desk and dresser. He was full in sobbing now.

"Al. Al! Albus!" Scorpius said pulling his arms down and bringing him to the bed.

"It's my fault Scorp." Albus cried into his shoulder.

"It's not your fault, Al." Scorpius said pressing a kiss to his head. He froze. He did not mean to do that. Albus looked up and without hesitation he smashed his lips against the blond boy's. Scorpius was shocked but kissed back with a passion. The pulled away because....air. Albus blushed and Scorpius grinned. "Feel better?"

"I guess that helped a little.." Albus said smiling.
