Steve, Romanoff, and I are all in a jet heading for Germany. I am slightly nervous for the mission since I haven't used my powers for awhile so I might be a little rusty. "We're here." Romanoff tells us as she lowers the hatch. Steve and I walked to the edge to see Loki pointing a scepter at an elderly man as he stands in a crowd, surrounded by kneeling citizens. They all hold faces that are full of fear because of the maniac god.
"You should go first. You're more...prepared." I tell Steve. He nods and jumps down just as Loki fires the scepter and deflects the blast, causing it to hit Loki in the stomach and fall to the ground. I drop down after and stand beside Steve. Loki glares at us, and to be honest, it shook me to the core. Him and his strange get-up with the weird reindeer antler helmet was all too much for me.
"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing." Steve stare with a straight face.
"The soldier," Loki chuckles as he stands up, "The man out of time." he says as he cockily grins.
"I'm not the one who's out of time." Steve smirks.
"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down." I hear Romanoff's voice say over the jet's PA. At that moment, Loki blasts the scepter at the jet, but Romanoff manages to move just in time. Steve throws his shield at Loki and we rush up to him. I punch Loki with a boost from my powers and he seems slightly stunned by my attack. He looks at me and gives me a look like he remembers something, but it quickly changes back to his normal smirk.
"You have a great darkness in you. Join me." He states mischievously, sticking out his hand for me to grab.
"Uhhhh... I'm good." I say, swinging at him again but he blocks it. He sends a force from his scepter and blasts me away. Loki turns to Steve and goes after him but Steve blocks his scepter with his shield and Loki takes that opportunity and hit him in the stomach with the other end of his scepter, causing him to be sent back a little bit. I use his distracted state push Loki back to stun him for a few seconds while Steve regains his strength and charges at him. He goes to punch Loki, but is kicked in the stomach and is pushed him down with the scepter.
"Kneel." Loki commands.
"Not today." Steve says, hitting Loki one more time before hearing loud music come from above. I look up in the sky and I see something coming straight at us. Suddenly, there was a blast from it, which sends Loki into some stairs. When the thing lands, I realized it was a suit, and I remember the only person capable of having it is Tony Stark. I watch as Stark holds up his hands towards Loki, and tiny guns stood out of his suit and aiming themselves at Loki.
"Make your move, Reindeer Games." Stark tells him. Steve gets up and we both walk to Stark's side. I watch as Loki holds his hands up in surrender and switches from his strange armor and into something more appropriate. Stark puts his weapons down. "Good move."
"Mr. Stark." Steve says.
"Captain." He greets and turns to me, "Gorgeous." He says, winking. I roll my eyes and grab Loki, leading him onto the jet, where Romanoff handcuffs him. That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It felt weird but good to use my powers again. Maybe this superhero thing isn't so bad.
