Missing Piece// Steve Rogers [1]

Lab Fight

      As we come to the door, the guard standing by the entrance looks at us.   "You're not authorized to-" He's cut off by Steve knocking him out. I open the door and Steve brings the man into the room and lays him to the side. We walk down the dimly lit hallway until we come to a storage room. Steve begins to push the heavy door open and succeeds. We walk into the storage room and look around at the things S.H.I.E.L.D. is hiding. 

      "Up here." Steve says as he hops onto a box and onto a railing above him. I follow and he lifts me up next to him. We stare at each other as he keeps his hands on my waist. It starts to get uncomfortable and awkward so I cough and he lets go and continues onto the walkway. We look around the room until something catches my eye. I walk over to a box labeled PHASE 2 and open it. As I open the container, I see a strange gun that has blue tendrils that are similar the tesseract.

      "Steve, you might want to see this." I call to him. He comes to my side and he looks at the gun, his brows furrow in confusion. I see a file laying nearby and I grab it. My mouth slightly drops in shock at the words I was reading. These were made from the tesseract's power and they've been hiding this from us. Steve roughly grabs the weapon and marches back to the lab.

Back in the lab:

We come back from the area where we found the gun and into the lab, I see Tony and Bruce gathered near Loki's scepter and Fury was standing in front of the table. "What is Phase 2?" Tony asks Fury. Steve walks to a nearby table and drops the gun onto it, causing a loud thud to emit into the room, making everyone direct their attention on us.

"Phase 2 is S.H.I.E.L.D. using the cube to make weapons." Steve states glancing over at Tony, "Sorry, computer was moving a little slow."

"Rogers, Stenson, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract." Fury says, walking to the table and glancing at the gun. "This does not mean that we're making-" He was cut off by Tony.

"I'm sorry," Tony turns the computer screen towards us and it reveals S.H.I.E.L.D.'s plans to create mass destruction weapons powered by the cube. "What were you lying?" He asks sarcastically.

"I was wrong, Director. The world hasn't changed a bit." Steve states. I hear the door open and I glance over at Thor and Romanoff walking in.

"Did you know about this?" Bruce asks Romanoff.

"You want to think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?" She asks him.

"I was in Calcutta. I was pretty well removed." He says as he chuckles humorlessly.

"Loki is manipulating you." She says as she takes a step towards him.

"And you've been doing what, exactly?" He asks sarcastically.

"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you."

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy." He says as he walks to the computer screen and points at it. "I'd like to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction".

"Because of him." Fury says as he points to Thor. Thor points to himself,
"me?" He asks.

"Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned". Fury says.

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor defends.

"But you're not the only people out there, are you. And you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, that can't be controlled." Fury pleads his case.
