Coming back to Anima City

(y/n's) POV

As I was walking with Ana on my arm
I couldn't help but smile at her determination to keep me company so i wouldn't feel lonely

Fifteen minutes had passed and Ana sat down rubbing her feet

"Want me to carry you, I mean it took 30 minutes for me to get you to the gate from my house as a Lycan, so walking normally isn't really ideal"

She looked up at me surprised
"Is that alright" she said getting up

I kneeled down as my answer,
Ana hesitantly got on my back

I rose from my kneeling position with Ana on my back and started walking
towards my cabin

"So are you just as lonely as me, I mean coming to see a monster because he's lonely, makes it seem like you're just as lonely" I said reaching the path that lead to my cabin

"I don't really have any friends, I mean I thought I'd made some when I first met you...but they didn't even come to my house to see if I'd made it back on my own" she said resting her head on my shoulder

"Then if you want we can be friends" I said smiling

"R-REALLY!!" Ana said almost falling off my back

"yeah, heh plus you can tell any bullies that you'll feed them to the monster in the woods"

"that's not funny, your more than a threat or a monster, you're a person too" Ana said catching me off guard

[Timeskip]

As I walked up to the door to my cabin I noticed that Ana had fallen asleep on my back her arms wrapped around my neck

I opened the door went to my room and set Ana down on my bed, I went into the kitchen to make tea, I started boiling the kettle over the fire in the fireplace

I then went to check on Ana only to see her sniffing my blanket while hugging it to her body

"Smell good" I asked smiling and leaning against the door frame

She turned around bright red

"I-it's not what it looks like" she said
Surprised

"I think it's exactly what it looks like" I said getting closer to her

"If you like my scent that much, you can sniff me instead of my blanket or before you start sniffing my clothes"
I said smirking

She said nothing as she froze so I got on the bed with her and pulled her into a hug surprising her further

She accepted the hug and pulled me in closer then I thought possible

But something ruined the moment
A whistling sound in the kitchen

I sighed heavily and seperated from the hug telling Ana that I had to take the kettle off the fire, as I went into the kitchen and took the kettle off the fire and started to make tea I felt a familiar embrace from behind

"What am I really to you Ana" I asked confused about our friendship

"You are special to me, and I don't know why but when ever I'm with you or close to you, you make me feel warm on the inside" she said as her grip tightened

"Ah, t-thats not something a friend says to another friend, that's something you say to someone you love" I said as I turned around in the hug and stared at her surprised face

"Well do you...love me" I said actually wanting to know the answer

"I don't know what love is i haven't had any real friends let alone someone I liked or loved" Ana said shyly

"So I don't really know how friends act or how you act towards someone you love" she said quietly

I handed Ana her tea, as she let go off me and took it, we both started taking sips from our tea

" You said something interesting back in the forest, you said you were immortal what is that" she said looking at me in the eyes

"It-it means I don't age and that I've watched Anima grow from a small settlement to a massive city" I said taking another sip of my tea

"How old are you" she asked confused still

"I am...I am two hundred and twenty years old" I said finishing my tea with a final gulp

Ana looked at me seriously before talking "why don't you come back, surely the reason you're stuck out here has passed, right" Ana asked

"Because I have nothing in Anima, to keep me there, everyone I knew is dead and everything I knew is probably gone, that and I'm an Okami" I said bluntly

"I'd be there, and so what if you're an Okami" Ana said quietly

"Ana I don't have a place there and I don't have money, I built this cabin and I'll be honest with you this tea I made is stolen, I stole the ingredients for it, the only thing I don't steal is food which I hunt for"

Ana looked at me seriously one more time "you can stay with me" she said

I sighed

Some time had passed as Ana continued to try and convince me to go back to Anima....I just gave in

As me and Ana walked the path back to Anima City I could just see the gates of Anima I was becoming nervous Ana grabbed my hand and held it as if sensing how nervous i was

i then immediately calmed down as Ana walked me to the gate the guards didn't even give me a second glance
As we entered the city, when we got past all the guards i looked at the city with different eyes I could see similarities to the old settlement I had known

Ana started pulling on my arm to get me to follow her as we walked I couldn't help but stare at everything

Ana stopped in front of a building made of stone and brick with a second floor to it, she then knocked on the door for it to be opened by a woman who looked about my age when I first became immortal [around twenty]

"There you are, how long are you going to spend in the market" she said her hands on her hips

"I made a new friend" Ana said pointing at me with her free hand

"It looks like he's more than a friend" she said smirking while pointing at our hands, I'd forgotten that we were still holding hands and apparently so did Ana who had let go of my hand and was now bright red

"W-we're j-just friends" Ana said blushing

"S-Sel I wanted to ask if it would be okay if (y/n) stayed here for a while he doesn't have a place to stay" Ana said blushing harder then before

Sel smirked again but this time it looked a little evil

"Ok but if he stays, he stays in your room" she said walking into the kitchen
