"good morning Mirielle!"

Smiling at the fellow villagers as she passes by with a apple in her hand and a basket in the other.

Waving with the hand that hold the apple at the village kids as they yell out her name.

"Good morning Mirielle!"

"Mirielle! good morning!"

She smiles at the kids and then turns when she hears a woman yell her name.

"Yes? What is it?" She ask

The woman stops in front of her, catching her breath before she speaks.

"Your grandfather needs you!"

Concerned, she then nods her head and turns to the right, passing the villagers, horses, and little food stands, her blue and white little dress and her long light brown hair flying around with the wind as she starts to run.

Finally, passing the last food stand, she then goes up the small stone stairs and goes into the small village house.

"Grandfather! Whats wrong? Are you hurt?" She ask, as she watches her grandfather sit at the kitchen table, reading a book.

Her grandfather looks up at her, a smile on his face, watching as his eyes, as green as the trees light up.

"No, no, no need to worry my child, I'm just here to say that I have a surprise for you" her grandfather then gets up out of his chair and goes to his bag, getting out something.

"Grandfather?"

He walks over to her, placing the small blue stone necklace in her hand, she looks up, with a questioning look on her face.

"What is this?"

"Well my dear child, I found this at a little shop, it was shining so bright that I couldn't leave it, something was telling me to get it for you" he says, he then goes back and sit in his chair.

Mirielle looks down at the small blue stone, as she looks at it, she feels a pull, like it belongs to her.

Or maybe someone who she used to knows perhaps?

"It's beautiful grandfather, but I can't keep it, I'm afraid I'll lose it"She tries to hand it back but her grandfather shakes his head.

Grabbing her hand and putting it into a fist, making her clench the stone necklace.

"You won't lose it" he says as he let's go of her hand.

"How do you know I won't? I could lose it when I help clean the horses, or helping the children read, or going to-"

"Nonsense my child, I have a feeling you won't lose it, but, even it you do so perhaps lose it, you find a way to get it back, or it'll just find you" he says, smiling.

She watches as he goes back to reading his book.

She nod her head and smile. Putting on the small blue stone necklace, and quickly saying bye to her grandfather.

Going back outside, running down the small stone stair, passing the villagers and food stands, she finally reaches the village children. Smiling as they crowd her, asking about the small blue stone.

As she answers all the questions, she thinks, she thinks as to why this necklace feels so important to her, why she feels like she saw someone wearing one like it.

She wonders, and she'll soon get her answers.
