21. Preparations.

IU and Baek visit their teacher and she explains them about what they've to do as class heads.

She explains them about the preparations they've to do and all.

They finally bow to her after the so long explanation tbh a lecture actually.

They walk out of the staff room with a few papers of to-do lists in their hands.

They start walking towards their class.

An awkward silence.

"Congrats " Baekhyun breaks the ice .

"Mhm? "she gets startled.

"I mean... For topping "he stutters and ends up smiling sheepishly.

"Ahh that ! Thanks. You too "

He simply nods.

"Kind of regretting now ... U know topping? " he says pursing his lips lifting the papers in his hands and using it as a fan.

She giggles on seeing what he meant  .

"Thank you "she says.

"What for? "

" Just for helping Yumi ... on that day (the trip)"

"It was nothing , don't thank me it was her who handled the situation like a pro without any fear " he says proudly.

"Mhm? Really?  Wow never knew that! "she exclaims happily.

"I'm happy she's become more stronger now. "she continues

"Yeah I know right ! Since she's got a great company " he smiles looking at her.

She understands what he meant and is taken aback a bit since she thinks that she helped her friend in some way.

She nods.

"You better be good to her later otherwise .."she lifts her right hand clenching her fist.

"What do mean? "

"You know what I mean OK! "she smirks looking back to the way.

His jaw hangs low.

"How did you...."he couldn't even finish.

"I know . I can see it all . I've my own eyes you know "she says as if poking her eyes with two fingers (A/n: u know what I meant right? 👀😅)

"Yeah! Sure enough! Heh he heh " he nervously laughs.

He wanted to ask her about, what's going on b/w her and Chanyeol.  but decides to not , since he first wants to talk about something with him.

They finally reach their class.

Both Yumi and Chan couldn't help but feel jealous upon seeing their friends smiling at each other.

"What took you so long? " Yumi pouts.

"Nothing. You know her (teacher) right ? long instructions and all" she replies rolling her eyes and flopping on her desk with head down.

She just hums.

"BTW why're you both smiling so creepily and why the hell is he blushing so much?? " Yumi groans angrily.

IU lifts her head looking towards Baekhyun she just contends her laugh as she sees her jealous friend angrily pouting.

"Ah that..... " IU shyly says teasing her friend.
