28. Dark Past - II

A year later , everything went back to normal , as for what everyone thought. But it wasn't like that.

During this time Ji Eun changed herself completely.

She did everything she could , just to get out of the depressed phase she was going through.

She got into every Sports Club like basketball, soccer, tennis etc,. which included physical strength.

She joined the gym too.

It was like she was torturing herself for being a bad daughter as per her mom.

On the other hand , the only person who was by her side all the time , like a shadow , was Yumi.

She tried her best to get Ji Eun out of her trance  , so that she doesn't overwork herself , but couldn't.

Besides everything , Ji Eun became both physically and mentally strong , but not ......

Emotionally .

She even learnt karate and taekwondo, in which she didn't give up , until she snatched the black belts.

Amidst all these, she didn't forget about her studies and to be a top ranker , as she was.

She made herself so busy, that she didn't care anymore about herself.

Then one day , while she was going back home from her school, she saw a group of boys bullying a girl.

"What are you? A filthy bxtch that's all ! "
"Hahhhahha just look at yourself struggling to get out of here. You can't do anything you are just a weakling anyways"

They all laugh .

As the girl with all bruises and blood , helplessly tries to get up .

Seeing this Ji Eun couldn't help but tighten her grasp on her bag strips.

"Hey get away from her! " she shouts gaining attention of the bullies

"Oh look we have another chick here" one of them smirks .

"Get her to me " the leader says smirking.

"I'm warning you one last time ! LEAVE!!!!" she shouts with much rage.

They get startled , but try to attack her nevertheless .

Before anyone could register anything , everyone is knocked down and crying in pain.

Ji Eun immediately rushes to the girl and helps her up .

The leader smirks and strides towards them.

"Woah! Appreciable "  *smirks* "I've never seen someone like you " he tries to touch her face but she just bends his arm.

It was so painful that he instantly slaps her making her fall beside the girl.
