27 . Dark Past - I

A/n : This chapter is so long ass . As it has the whole past story of how iu was before and what made her the way she is now. So read it whole even though you are bored sorry. Also note that this is from Yumi's perspective. And she's explaining the whole thing to Chanyeol.

When Ji Eun-ie was younger , she was really sweet and innocent. She was so shy that she never had any friends.

But one day when she was getting bullied by a group of girls, a boy stepped up for her . He helped her and told her that she was really cute and beautiful. Then eventually they became close friends. They used to hangout everyday without fail but one day he didn't show up.

After that when she met him and asked why he didn't come , he said he had to attend a family gathering .

After a few days he once again didn't come and again gave excuses. It went on for a month. But after that he never came.

This made her mad at first but eventually she became worried.

She decided to ask him directly at his home but when she reached there . The house was empty. There was no one.

At first she fumed thinking that he left her without even saying a proper goodbye.

But then she asked the neighbours but little did she expect her world came shattering down.

They said that the boy who lived here died one month back due to cancer and his family moved from here as they didn't wanted to live here anymore.

This made her cry for weeks months and God knows how much. But her family always supported her .They gave her strength.

Few years later she joined the high school where I used to study.

The first impression which I got from her was like "wow this girl is really like a sunshine " due to her smile and then I approached her . But she was hesitant at first but nevertheless we became friends .

We were like best friends. She was always a smiling girl but one day I saw her crying alone and when I asked her she never told me. And like that I saw her many times more. So I decided to find out.

So I asked her if I could visit her parents and lil brother . She accepted and I spent a day at hers.

When she went out for some reason I asked her mom what happened to her. Then she explained me everything . And I was so shocked that it literally got me to tears. Then I decided that I would never leave her side no matter what.

Then we entered the secondary higher education when a boy joined our school. He was so smart , handsome and like a top student who ranked 1st in literally anything.

I didn't knew Ji Eun would fall for him. It was maybe love at first sight or something. She never told me but I knew. Her eyes told otherwise.

To her luck , they happened to attend the students council meetings as class representatives . Eventually due to their conversations about the projects and all , they became friends.

She was smiling more than before now and I was so happy for her. He was so considerate towards her. He used to help her in many things.

I asked her one day if what I was thinking was true , which made her blush madly and she shyly looked down which gave me answers. So I encouraged her to go confess her feelings but she never agreed.

So I helped her. I sent them together to the meeting hall telling them a teacher was looking for them and my plan worked since there was no one except me of course as I was hidden.
