23. The Event.

After the preparations were completed , I was so damn exhausted.

I couldn't even walk back to the dorm by myself.

I wished I had wings so I could fly directly to my bed.

We reached the dorm finally after like ages of walking.

I plopped on my bed on my face and nuzzled into the softness.

"Good Night " I heard Yumi telling more like a whisper.

I just lifted my hand and waved my hand.

Then she turned off the lights giggling.

Then I turned the opposite side and was staring at the ceiling and the only thing I could think of was Chanyeol.

I immediately shrugged off the thoughts and turned on my side.

But as soon as I closed my eyes I again started thinking about him.

I turned at my sides like a thousand times but still couldn't sleep.

I quitted on sleeping now I was staring at the ceiling again.

I got reminded of the Scene earlier where we were entangled in the lights and how close we were that I could observe his beautiful features.

Stopppp! What the heck are you Even thinking ???.

Then it hit me hard.

No this can't be. No no.... I can't fall in love again... I Dont want another heartbreak.

Though I think it's one sided I should stop this right away.

I deeply thought what to do?

Then I came to a final decision.

I looked at Yumi sleeping peacefully.

"I'm sorry Yumi.... But I've to break my promise in order to save my heart "I silently thought.

I didn't notice I was in tears by then and I started sobbing quietly which was panging my heart really bad.

It's the D-day. Everything is ready.

Both the College and campus are looking beautiful.

Everything is perfect. The lights, decorations , the stage and especially the students.

Everyone is looking stunning in their attires.

The staff members are in there formal attire whereas the students in colourful ones.

"Thank God I didn't ranked top otherwise I'd have stuck like that too " Chen sighed.
