I woke up the next morning with little Gabby in my arms. I stayed there for a while, looking at her sleeping when I remembered what happened yesterday. Abi and Harry. I don’t know why, but I always get the feeling of jealousy when he’s near her. Am I in love with Harry? My thoughts were disrupted by Gabby moving around. Her eyes soon peeled open and a smile spread across her face.

“Good Morning beautiful.” I say to her as I kiss her forehead.

“Good morning Jessie.” She replies kissing my cheek.

Gabby and I had a strong relationship, partly because she only just turned four and she hasn’t gone through the whole ‘I hate my sister’ thing yet, but mainly because when there a two children in a family, you learn to bond with each other more. I got her up and we walked downstairs to go make breakfast.

“Pancakes or cereal?” I asked her, getting the pancake mix ready because she always chose pancakes.

“PANCAKES!” She screamed and sat down at the small kiddy table.

I started preparing the pancakes and getting the plates ready. While the pancakes were cooking we would carry on light conversation, about the teletubbies. She was one of those kids who were obsessed with the teletubbies, even though that whole accident happened when they were banned from TV, she still had the DVD.

The pancakes were finally finished and we were smothering them with maple syrup and nutella. Once we had finally finished our pancakes I took her upstairs to get dressed. I unpacked her outfit which consisted of a black and white spotty skirt, a plain pink tank top (hehe, baby wear.) and black ballet flats. I quickly dressed her and she went to play with my phone.

I then went into my walk-in closet and chose my outfit for the day, knowing I wasn’t planning on going anywhere, I just chose some sweats. I walked back out to see Gabby on the phone with someone, I quickly rushed over to see she was only calling Harry. God, this kid was smart. I smiled to myself as she handed me the phone so I could talk to Harry.

I automatically felt bad for him, I didn’t want him to get hurt.

H: Hey Bessie Boo

J: Hey Haz, sorry about Gabby calling, I left her with my phone when I went to get dressed. Bad decision.

H: Nah, it’s fine. Anything to hear her voice, and yours.

I smiled when I heard him say that.

H: So… What are you and Gabby doing today?

J: Well, nothing for a few hours, but I might take her out for ice-cream a bit later and then take her back to my parent’s house.

H: Do you mind if I come over then? I need to talk to you about something

J: I don’t mind, feel free to come whenever you want.

H: Thanks Jess, you’re the best.

I giggled a little and then hung up the phone.

“C’mon Gabz, let’s go see what’s on TV. Haz will be here soon.”

“YAY!” She screamed and jumped on me, signalling for me to carry her down.

I carried her down the stairs, into the sitting area and turned on the TV to find Dora the Explorer. She immediately smiled and began watching the TV, telling Dora where swiper was.

I pulled out my phone and went on twitter, I scrolled through my mentions:

Hate, hate, hate, more hate, oh that’s a nice one…oh wait, it’s just hate.

I rolled my eyes and went on Harry’s profile, joy, another photo. He seems so happy with her, and I will be the one who has to save him and then he’s going to hate me. The photo was of him and Abi, full on making out. I swear, from what I could see, it was all tongue. I gagged a little and heard my doorbell ring.

“Gabby, Harry’s here!” I said brightly as she ran to the front door.

Gabby kept hitting the door while I grabbed my keys and unlocked it. Gabby immediately jumped into Harry’s arms, hugging him tightly. When she let go, Harry came towards me and hugged me.

We all sat down in the sitting area, Gabby continued watching Dora, while me and Harry continued light conversation.

“When you go to drop Gabby back off, you’re coming for a sleepover.”

“Why?”

“Because, i said so.” He replied with a wink.

I laughed at him as we watched Dora with Gabby.

It was around 4pm when the ‘dora marathon’ ended when we decided to head out to drop Gabby off. I made sure my mum and dad were ready beforehand, mum said come whenever.

I changed into more going out clothes. Light denim shorts, a pink loose tank top with a skull on it, my black and white vans, and ray-ban sunglasses. I packed my overnight bag for Harry’s and ran downstairs, meeting up with Gabby and Harry. We went out the door and Harry Drove us to My parent’s house.

We greeted my parent’s, dropped Gabby off and finally made our way to Harry’s house. He still had to tell me what he wanted to, but I didn’t care if he told me or not.
