If only you listened.

We finally arrived at Harry’s; thankfully it wasn’t too far from my parent’s house. I hate cars, don’t know why though. We walked up to the front door to be greeted by 4 smiling boys.

“Why are you guys here?” I laughed jokingly.

“Because we can.” Liam winked.

We walked through the door and sat down on the couches, watching “The Last Song” Ok, one thing I will say, is that this movie NEVER fails to make me cry, tears of joy for the happy relationship, tears of sadness for the death of her father.

“Jess?” Harry whispered into my ear. “Come with me a minute?”

I nodded and he took me up the stairs. We arrived in his bedroom and he shut the door, sighing before turning towards me.

“What’s wrong Haz?” I asked before sitting down on the bed, soon joined by Harry.

“I need your help…”

“With?”

“Jess, I really like Abi, and I need your opinion on where to take her. I can’t lose her.”

The words cut through me like 1000 knives.

“Harry, why do you love her?”

“What?”

“She doesn’t deserve you Harry!”

“What are you talking about? She’s beautiful!”

“NO! She’s not! She’s an evil demon that was sent down to try and make you happy just to bring you back down again.”

“Stop saying that!”

“She’s using you Harry! She only wants you for your money and fame!”

“How could you say that?! Why can’t you just let me be happy?!”

“BECAUSE I KNOW SHE’S GOING TO BREAK YOU! SHE BREAKS EVERYONE!” At this point I was yelling.

“JUST LET ME BE HAPPY!” He yelled back.

I stood up from the bed and looked him dead in the eye.

“IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO BE HAPPY, YOU WOULDN’T BE DATING HER! TO TOP IT ALL OFF SHE WOULD BE CHEATING ON YOU! SHE HAS A BOYRFRIEND!”

“JUST GET THE F**K OUT OF MY HOUSE!”

“Fine. But when she breaks you, don’t come crying to me.”

“YOU’RE SO F*CKING ANNOYING! I WISH I NEVER MET YOU AGAIN AFTER THE TWO YEARS!”

That sentence broke me. I was no longer able to function, I didn’t care that he didn’t believe me, but wishing that we never met again stabbed me in the heart. The tears rolled down my face, I quickly turned around and ran out the door. Slamming it shut to find the boys standing outside; they had heard the whole conversation. I looked at them all.

“Tell Harry to go and find a brain. It’ll help him a lot.” I spat before running down the stairs and out the front door.”

I had to walk all the way home, I didn’t want to see or talk to Harry ever again so I had no ride. When I finally reached my house, I unlocked the door and walked inside closing it again. I immediately broke; I fell hard onto the tiled floor. Screaming at it, punching it until I felt my hands go numb. I had lost my best friend that didn’t even think of me as a best friend. I might as well go and never talk to anyone again, lock myself in a basement and wait for ‘SAW’ to come and play a game for me. At times like this, I wish I had Jake back, he would have sat with me and eat ice cream until I felt better again. Like the time Harry left for the first time, and I thought he was never coming back.
