1 WEEK LATER.

I woke up really early today; the day we get to see Isaac. I was over the moon in excitement, I get to see my baby boy! I  quickly got dressed and went to make breakfast, I had let Harry sleep a little longer because he couldn’t sleep last night. I just made two bowls of cereal and called Harry down.

The other boys were visiting friends because they were on break; they had basically spent all last week at my house. I brung the food upstairs to Harry and he was getting dressed already.

“Today’s the day!” He smiled and kissed my lips.

I handed him the food and we ate in pure silence, not awkward, nice.

Once we were finished we took the bowls downstairs and rushed out the door, “Harry you did put the car seat for Isaac in the car, didn’t you?”

“How could I forget?” He smiled.

“You didn’t?” I laughed.

“I did not.” He said and ran to the garage, grabbing the baby seat and fixing it in the car.

We drove to the hospital and parked in the parking lot, we walked inside and the nurse led us to his room. And that’s when I saw him, the most beautiful baby in the world.

“Isaac!” I yelped with excitement and ran over to him, Harry following closely behind.

“He’s beautiful,” Harry whispered, placing his finger in his little fist “Daddy” He said in a baby voice, then pointed to me “Mummy” I smiled at him and walked closer to Isaac, kissing his forehead.

“Are you ready to go home, beautiful?” I asked him as he looked at us with big blue eyes.

I smiled at him again and told the nurse we were ready to go. We took Isaac out of the hospital and towards the car, Harry put him in the baby seat and then got in the driver’s seat. I sat next to Isaac, holding his hand.

Once we arrived home Harry helped me out of the car and then took Isaac in his arms.

We walked inside and took him up to his room.

“This is your room” I said as I saw Harry kissing Isaac’s forehead.

Harry placed him down on the mat on the floor, he was lying there looking up at the ceiling. I stood back up and walked over to Harry, who wrapped his arms around me.

“He’s home.” I whispered.

“Where he’s meant to be.” Harry added and missed my cheek.

6 MONTHS LATER.

It has been exactly 6 months since we took Isaac home; the fans were treating him nicely. He had his first smile when he was around 2 months. And right now, we’re trying to get him to say his first word.

“C’mon, say Dada!” Harry said holding his hands, he was just laughing at him.

“Dada!” Harry repeated.

“He’s never gonna say-“

He was cut off by Isaac saying Dada.

“Babe! He just said Dada!” Harry said, I swear I could see tears in his eyes.

“Dada!” Isaac repeated. Harry picked him up and kissed his stomach. He was obviously over the moon to see his child say his name.

“See babe, told you he was gonna say it!” I laughed and took Isaac from his arms.

“Are you hungry? Yes you are yes you are!” I laughed at him and started breast-feeding him

We decided on breast-feeding because it was a more healthier option, and the doctor told us it would help.

“How do women do that, I’m still so confused.” He said pulling a disgusting face.

“You’re too young to know!”

“Hey, I’m older than you!” He said back

“Then you obviously weren’t listening in health class” I smirked

“On second thoughts, I don’t want to know…”

I laughed at him and continued feeding Isaac.

It was already 8 o’clock so I finished feeding Isaac and put him to sleep, I haven’t had that much sleep because he would wake up and not go back to sleep for hours, I was hoping tonight was the night.

“I’m gonna go lay down” I told Harry.

“I’ll come.” He replied and walked with me to our bedroom.

We lay down and I drifted off to sleep with his hand stroking my hair.

I was woken up to the sound of crying, I looked over towards Harry who was still sleeping. I sighed and rolled out of bed, making my way to Isaac’s room. I picked him up and took him down the stairs to the kitchen. I got his dummy (pacifier) from the fridge and put it in his mouth, he was still crying when Harry came down.

“You ok?” He asked.

“Why don’t you just go back to sleep”

“No, I’m here to help”

“Well, you weren’t for the past month, like you slacked off or something.”

“I was tired.”

“What, and you don’t think I am?!” I spat back.

“No. If you say you’re tired, here I am, trying to help and you’re pushing me away!” The tone of his voice started to rise.

“I am not pushing you away!”

“Yes you are! You won’t even let me hold him!”

“BECAUSE IT SEEMS THAT I CARE ABOUT HIM MORE THAN YOU!”

“THAT’S A FUCKING LIE, I’VE HAD WORK, AND I’VE TRIED TO BE HERE WITH YOU AS WELL AS GET SOME SLEEP. IT’S HARD.”

“DO NOT SWEAR IN FRONT OF HIM!”

“FUCK FUCK FUCK”

“YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU’RE A FUCKING DICKHEAD.”

“OH LOOK WHO’S SWEARING, HYPOCRITE!”

“DON’T YOU DARE START THIS ON ME”

“I WON’T, YOU HAVE FUN TAKING CARE OF ISAAC BY YOURSELF.”

He grabbed is jacket off the kitchen bench that was sitting there from last night, and walked towards the door.

“GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMEONE ELSE, I’M SURE THEY’RE LINING UP!” He yelled and slammed the door shut.

That was it, my world had just gone out my front door. “Dada!” Isaac said from in my arms.

The moment he said that I broke down, he continued playing with the necklace; the one Harry gave me.

It was a heart with an infinite sign through it, saying ‘Forever’ I guess promises brake. Like he said he’d never leave me again.

I carried Isaac back upstairs and placed him on Harry and I’s bed, I pulled the blanket over him and lay down next to him, Holding his hand. He was patting my head and giggling, I would laugh with him. But I was broken, I only had Isaac left now.
