things were back to normal the following day. Zach was as spacious as usual and only once compliment was spoken to jack.
but jack realized that he liked it like that. The compliment felt more genuine when it was thoughout.

the day with Zach was different than usual. Zach dragged me along him until lunch.
"hey what's with you today? You're back on your pills right?" I looked at him oddly. He had been very clingy today.
"Yeah." His eyes were locked on something all lunch. I turned to look around to see his eyes on eben.
"Just making sure.." I turned back to look at him. He wasn't even reading his book today. I reached over to his bag to see the books he chose from the library. I always loved to see what he was reading.
my world stopped when I opened his bag.
Romeo and Juliet sat there in his bag.
"you promised me.." I looked up at him. He hadn't noticed I was in his bag.
"You fucking promised!" I yelled catching his attention.
his eyes widened as he snatched the book from my hand. "Don't got through my shit jack!"
"What the fuck are you doing with that?" I asked. I was angry.
"None of your fucking business. I don't owe you a fucking explication." He scoffed putting it back in his bag.
I grumbled angrily. Usually I would never do something to upset Zach on purpose but this was different.
I snatched his bag from his hand grabbing the book out and storming out the cafeteria.
moments after I saw Zach following me.
"The fuck has gotten into you today?!" zach asked following behind me.
I ignored him walking into the bathroom and threw it into the toilet.
"Fuck you !" zach yelled.
"No fuck you! After all we have been through? You want to pull that shit?" I yelled back at him.
tears flowed from my eyes. the silence that followed was taunting almost. Zach's facial expression made matters worse. He was angry his face red.
it looked as if he wasn't even sorry.
"Fucking apologize! I damn right deserve it!" I couldn't stop yelling at him. I was so lost in anger I forgot who I was even speaking to.
That's when Zach's deminer changed. His face no longer angry. "Sorr-"
I turned around to leave not even listening. I couldn't believe what had just happened.
I yelled at Zach. Then Zach admitted to being wrong.
What the hell was happening to us?
_ I stood with eben as he handed me the coffee he got me.
"thank you ,you're the best eben." a small smile on my face.
"Always. Anything for a good mate." a cheeky smile on his features.
" anyways there's a party tonight if you want to go."eben comments.
"you know why I can't go to party's.. remember last time?" I sighed closing my eyes. "Oh right I'm so sorry.."

I shuddered. I never wanted to make that mistake again. After all that party lead to the worst memories of my life. I would never go through again.
suddenly it made me feel angry. thinking of Zach trying to commit suicide twice.
I didn't realize I was crying and that my fist were clenched until ebens thumb was wiping away my tears. ebens other hand lay on my shoulder comforting me.
"Thank you for being such a great friend eben."
"always jack." He pulled me into a hug and I held him back. He was a truly amazing friend.
Suddenly a hand grabbed my arm pulling me away. I looked to see it was Zach who was clearly angry.
"I told your ass to stay away from him! I'll fucking ruin you if I see you near him again!" zach yelled pulling me away.
He dragged me to his car that's when I yanked my arm back.
"STOP!" I yelled. he turned to look at me shocked.
"You.. you need to stop Zach I can't stand this anymore." I complained. I felt like ripping my hair out.
he pissed me off so much today.
"Stop what? You were about to snog another boy and you tell me to stop?" He argued.
"If you asked you would've known that ebens only a friend. But you never listen zach."
zach crosses his arms clearly displeased. "Whatever I don't care."
"I think we need a break." I said suddenly.
