"your interview was so much fun. i enjoy interviews but not as much as yours!" corey beams at me as i go to put away my notes.
"that's so great to hear. i'm not going to lie, i was super nervous after i decided to take this on." i laughed.
"why? you're such a natural!" he asks.
"i've been a dodgers fan for as long as i can remember, i've wanted to report for the club since i was in middle school. this is one my biggest goals." i ramble. "oh i'm sorry you don't care about all that."
"of course i want to get to know you! you're going to be following me around all season, we are bound to become friends." corey smiles.
with that our conversation continued, we got to know some more things about each other and i won't lie when i say we got along so well. it was like catching up with an old friend.
"i have to get going but maybe you, my girlfriend, and i can hang out together soon! i'm positive you guys will hit it off!" corey suggests as he prepares to head back into the clubhouse.
"i'd love to meet her!" i say as i pick up my things to head to my seat.
