"Fuck, so she el chapoed the place, damn that's good,"

"No Lincoln, it's not good. It means that you and I both wasted our time looking for her just so she'd escape the prison."

"Wasted our time?
We got paid, or have you forgotten?" He questioned watching Ryn pace in front of him.

"Yes, we got paid, but have you listened to a word I've said? She escaped a heavily guarded prison facility."

"Yeah and so? That's the police's problem now, we've done our jobs."

"It means she could be anywhere right now and it means that Harper could be in danger."

"They're sisters Ryn, Therese wouldn't hurt her. She had the chance too but didn't take it."

"Still Lincoln, Harper could be in danger."

"Then why aren't you with her?"

"Because she's at her office and I'd like to think she's safe there."

"Mhm. What was the purpose of calling me here?"

"We might have to find her again."

"Nope. I'm not doing that. Let the police handle it this time, it's their fault she el chapoed the prison, not ours, so just relax."

"I can't relax, do you have any idea how dangerous and unstable she is?"

"Yes, and it's why I'm telling you to leave it to the police. She already shot you once Ryn and I'm not up to hearing it happen again, she could kill you this time."

"That's not going to happen," She replied with an edge to her voice that made Lincoln eyed her carefully.

"Okay. What would you have me do now?"

"Find out what started the riot and all those involved, also try your best to see if anyone can give up who helped her to flee the prison grounds."

"Alright. What will you be doing while I'm at that?"

"I'm gonna go talk to Harper."

"She was here last night you said?" Lincoln smirked. Ryn rolled her eyes trying not to smile at the playfulness in her friend's tone.

"Oh yeah, she was. Tell me, did you guys fuck the life out of each other or did you try to act all proper with her?"

"That is none of your business,"

"You sly dog you." Lincoln laughed and Ryn had tried hard not too but her facade broke and she joined in with him.

"She wanted it just as much as I did."

"Of course, I know Harper's a sly veteran too, despite that sweet girl facade she puts up."
Ryn chuckled again but soon dropped the horsing around.

"So can you do that for me?"

"Yes, ma'am." Lincoln stood up and then saluted.

"Try to get as much in information as you can."

"Don't I always?"

"Don't start," She said, cutting Lincoln's sarcasm and he shrugged.

They both walked over to the door, getting out together.

"I'll swing by later tonight to see what ya got." Ryn tossed towards her friend as they both made for their separate cars.

"Sure. Say hi to Harper for me," he joked and Ryn grinned. It was funny because Harper clearly didn't like him.

Climbing into her car, she made for the office she'd first gone too almost a month ago, the place where everything started. Her mind raced off reminiscing about when she'd first laid eyes on Harper.
