"Giyuu?" You called out, walking through your shared apartment to find him.
"Giyuu?" You called out again, this time walking into your bedroom.
The sight you saw made your heart drop. His lips were connected with a familiar black haired woman who you immediately recognised as your former best friend.
"Giyuu...?" You spoke, dropping the bags in your hands.
His head shot up, a thin string of saliva coming from his mouth to hers. His eyes widened as he hurriedly got up, trying to reach for you.
"Y/N." He breathed out, grabbing your shoulders while you stared up at him in betrayal.
"Y/N please. It's not what you-" You cut him off by slapping his cheek hard.
His head flung to the side as you pulled off the promise ring he got you and threw it at him, running out of the apartment at full speed.
"Y/N!" You heard him yell out.
You knew for a fact that he was going to chase you, so you took a shortcut. You ran down an alleyway and arrived at one of the main roads.
"Y/N!" But apparently the shortcut wasn't enough.
At this point you were panicking. You didn't want him to catch you because you didn't want to hear his pathetic excuse. That's when you heard heavy footsteps behind you. You looked back and saw him running towards you.
You panicked and without thinking...stepped into the busy road.
"Y/N!!" He screamed out as he watched your body collide with an oncoming car.
TIMESKIP
You had no clue how long it had been, but you knew one thing for sure....
You woke up with the WORST headache ever.
You groaned in pain as you tried to sit up but failed. You opened your eyes and saw that you were neatly tucked into a hospital bed, wires sticking out from your arms.
You continued to look around when you felt a weight in your hand. You liked to your side and saw him...staring at you with wide and tears eyes.
"Y/N..." he breathed out, bringing you into a gentle hug, being careful not to hurt you too much.
"Tomioka." You said, your voice cold.
"Y/N...please listen to me.." He said, his begging tone broke down any barrier you had.
"She....she spiked my drink. I had no clue what I was doing until the moment you walked through that door. I'm so sorry love. I never meant to hurt you. When you stepped out onto that road my world stopped, and then you got hit...and it hurt me so bad. But I know I hurt you more. So I deserve this pain." He hung his head low, ashamed of his own actions.
"Tomioka...I'm sorry." You said, tears gathering in your eyes.
"Why? You shouldn't be sorry love..." He said, gently taking yours in his.
"If I would've just listened then maybe this wouldn't have happened." You sobbed out, gripping his hand tightly.
"Shh. Don't cry love. It's not your fault." He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead.
"I'm sorry Tomioka. I'm so sorry, can we start over?" You said, looking at him with desperate eyes.
"Of course love. But stop apologising, it wasn't your fault." He smiled softly at you before leaning in to give you a quick and soft kiss.
"Thank you for giving me another chance love." He said, caressing the back of your hand with his thumb.
"No.."
"Thank you..."
"For not being a liar."
