((Based on the song 'Can't Make You Love Me' by Britney Spears. Everytime I listen to it, it reminds me of Pucca))

Pucca P.O.V.

"Hi Garu!" I called as I skipped up behind him. He jumped a bit then looked at me.

"Oh. Hey Pucca." He said looking away and walking forward, sword in his hand.

"Did I scare you?" I giggled.

"What's Ching and Abyo doing?" He asked.

"Oh. I don't know, I just left the house." I smiled.

"Ah." He said looking to the opposite side of me.

"Wanna hang out?!" I asked and he jumped again slightly.

"Ah, Pucca. I'm busy right now. Why don't you hang out with Ching?" He sighed.

"Oh...okay." I said stopping walking, he kept walking on.

"Hmph." I grumbled, walking off.

---Later---

"I don't understand. I didn't do anything wrong..." I sighed, looking at Ching with a sad expression.

"Maybe he just was tired, or grumpy." She smiled supporting me.

"I've been trying so hard, to be nice. I haven't kissed him, in months." I said tearing up. "He still hates me."

"No, no Pucca he doesn't hate you." Ching said patting my arm.

"Just the thought of being close to him. It's incomparable. I'd give up everything." I looked down.

"Aw, maybe he will come around one day. You never know." She said getting up. "Hey uh...I promised Abyo I would hang out. So, I have to go." She said worriedly.

"Okay, have fun." I gave her a hug and she walked out.

----

I decided to walk around the woods, to clear my mind. I can't make him love me. He has to love me, but I don't think he ever will.
I heard a noise and looked through some bushes. It was Ching and Abyo. They were sitting on a tree stump talking. I didn't want to listen, but I saw Garu and hid deeper.

"Hey." He smiled, putting his sword away.

"Garu!" Abyo smiled. "Want to spar?" Abyo asked.

"We're on a date!" Ching yelled.

"I can't spar with Garu during it?" Abyo asked, dumbfounded.

"It doesn't matter. I'm not going to. I just wanted to hang out, but I won't bother you Ching." Garu smiled.

"Why don't you hang out with Pucca?" Ching said.

"Ugh." Garu sighed. "She already asked, I said no. Well, I said I was busy."

"Are you busy?" She asked, he shook his head no. "Why'd you lie?"

"I just feel uncomfortable hanging out with her alone." He looked down. "I like hanging out with her when we are all there."

"Oh, why?" Abyo asked.

"I don't know what to say to her, I know she is like, obsessed with me." He said.

"She won't hurt you." Ching laughed.

"It's just awkward." He said. "Oh well. Sorry to bother. Have fun." He said and started walking, toward me.

I hid as he walked by and slowly peeked out.

"He thinks I'm a freak...." I quietly whispered and walked off.

I couldn't help myself, I sat under a tree and cried. I've ruined every chance I ever had by acting the way I do. I adore him so much, I want him so bad.

"Are you okay?" I heard a voice and looked up.

"Garu!" I yelped and fell over.

"What's the matter?" He kneeled and sat next to me on the ground.

"I...nothing!" I wiped my eyes. "I got stung! By a bee!" I yelped.

"....Where?" He asked.

"...." I looked down.

"Are you crying because I didn't hang out with you?" He asked.

"No." I sighed. "I heard you talking with Ching and Abyo."

"Oh." He said. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. I'm an obsessed freak." I shrugged.

"No you're not." He said. "I'm just an ass sometimes. I apologize."

"Yeah." I said then looked at him and laughed, so did he.

"Next time wait a little longer to sob like that. Or I will hear you." He smiled at me.

"Oh well." I said wiping my eyes.

"What do you want to do?" He asked and I looked at him silently a few moments.

"Hang...out?" I asked.

"I know." He laughed. "But doing what?"

"I don't mind. Anything." I said turning my sitting position toward him. I was melting just looking at him. He looked at me and I looked down.

"You're nervous." He chuckled.

"Scared." I smiled. "I don't want to ruin this."

"Come on." He got up and held his hand out. "Let's go for a walk."

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. I blushed and patted myself off. "Thank you." I whispered.

"Welcome." He said and walked ahead and I caught up.

"Sooooo." I said. "This is awkward." I laughed.

"I know." He nodded.

We walked into the village and went to the market. He bought me a carmel apple.

"Thank you!" I said and bit it.

"Yup." He said eating one of his own. "Let's sit down." He mumbled covering his mouth with his hand.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the crowd, we sat on a bench and ate.

"Good." I mumbled and he nodded.

I looked at him and his mouth was so stuffed, he looked like a chipmunk.

"How cute." I poked his cheek and he almost spit. I laughed uncontrollably and he tried not to.

I know he isn't my boyfriend. Or that I'm not entirely close to him. But goodness, he's too perfect. He looked at me with a big smile on his face, I almost couldn't breathe.
If he ever tells me he likes me. I don't want to be the last one to know. I so want him to just tell me. I don't want Ching, or anyone else, to tell me.
