Pucca X Garu Oneshots

Valentine's Day

((Happy late Valentine's day!!! Hope you enjoy! This is one of my new favorite chapters by the way!))

Pucca P.O.V.

   My sweatshirt sleeves were rolled up to my elbows, but that didn't stop them from being covered in pink and purple frosting. Which my arms and hair were also caked with. I had been working all evening in the restaurant baking these awesome giant heart-shaped cookies. I wanted to make a dozen of them, and they were gigantic! I was creating little designs of hearts, butterflies, and ninja shurikens on them. I was so excited and my heart was turning at the thought of hand delivering them to Garu tomorrow. I so desperately wanted him to be my Valentine. Or even, just to let him know how much I care for and love him.
  
   My uncles kept asking me how long I would take, and when I would get to sleep. I just had to finish and perfect these. At about 11 p.m. I finished. I put them in a giant wicker basket, and wrapped a huge pink bow around it. I attached a tag that said "From: Pucca, To: My Valentine" on it and drew hearts around it. Then, I had to shower and get to bed.

   The next morning I sprang out of bed and put on a cute outfit of a red sweater with pink hearts and long black pleated skirt that went to my knees. I put on my makeup and skipped downstairs to grab the basket of my cookies.

   I grabbed the basket and skipped outside the restaurant. I walked to Garu's house excitedly, and strangely nervous. Usually I am never nervous to show my affection for Garu, but what if he didn't want them? That would be terrible!

   I walked up his porch steps and started to knock. I waited and there was no answer. Perhaps he was still sleeping. I knocked again and waited impatiently and nervous.

   "Hey." I heard him say and I spun around. He was standing in his front lawn with Mio.

   "Hi Garu! Happy Valentine's Day!" I said holding out the basket. "I made these for you!"

   "Wow thanks." He said taking the basket from me. "You made these?" He asked examining them.

   "Mmhmm." I smiled proudly.

   "Well thank you, they are cool." He said walking passed me, up his stairs.

   "Um. Wait!" I said and he turned toward me. "Uh. So there is a carnival in town tonight for Valentine's day for Valentines to go to. I was wondering if I may be your Valentine and take you?" I asked blushing and smiling.

   "Uh...I don't really...celebrate..." He mumbled looking at me nervously and slightly blushing.

   "N-Nevermind then." I said scratching my head. "I'll see you around." I said turning around and I started to walk away.

Garu. P.O.V.

   "Ah. Wait." I said looking at her cookies then at her. "Can I set these inside? And I'll follow you." I said and she nodded.

   I ran inside and set the cookie basket down.

   "Huh?" I said grabbing the tag on the basket. "To: My Valentine....oh..." I walked outside and she waved to me.

   "I was just going home to get ready for the carnival. I was going to tag along with Ching and Abyo, if you said no." She said and I could tell she was just trying to ask me to go again in a different way.

   "Well that would be pretty lame, if you were the thirdwheel." I said looking down. "I suppose I can go with you."

   "Really? Really? Oh thank you Garu!" She said hugging me.

   I turned red as she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me. I patted her back a few times.

   "I promise you'll have fun!" She let me go and bounced. "Come on!" She said and ran ahead of me.
